@bwild61 an American idea put into practice by americans but the quality is very low due to design which americans are not so good at, remembering tanks in 20th century which were very bad and still are, remembering american cars which still are very bad compared to asian and european cars. But these ideas sadly comes from war demands, even mass production, which is very sad.

@HowkeyLL Actually Gottlieb Daimler of Germany came up with the grand idea of mass production in 1886. Henry Ford streamlined the idea and made it more productive. Ford also brought about parts standardization, where parts of the same design and type could be used on multiple types of vehicles of different price ranges. Ford also brought forth stable working conditions and a guaranteed wage to workers of $ 5.00 a day when the Model T was being produced. Ford vehicles are high Quality!

@bwild61 Fords are good cars, yes. I dont mean to offend, but try VW, Audi, Skoda. You will see there is difference. You see, for example germany was very poor on vehicles before WW2, so they actually occupied Czechoslovakia to gain Skoda factories to produce tanks and ammunition, than they used it on France on Poland. I only put up this because im sad that mostly wars force the engineers to do this more quickly. For example if there was war and no gas...well you can end that thought.

It's funny, the model on the assembly line at 1:10 looks like a Volkswagen Type 3 Notchback.

@loufadoros20 I mixed the music in Microsoft Movie Maker, and simply uploaded it on YouTube. Without problem. If there's a problem with the sound, the video isn't uploaded completely. I think you should try uploading again.

Or did you add the music on YouTube later? Than I would ask YouTube (Q and A)

Skoda 120, my first car - all I could afford. I loved it. It is still the most comfortable car I have owned. It was certainly more reliable than the pile of rubbish Mercedes sold to me!

hmm, jake lakovanie, celé auto ponorili do laku, to bolo o niečom inom,ako dnes, kde na aute nastriekajú len to čo je vidieť a keď sa odokryje koberec,alebo tapacírung, tak je tam pomaly holý plech :-/, potom že auto začne po 4roch rokoch hrdzaveť :-(, dnes sa už nič nerobí tak kvalitne ako kedysi , a aj to tak vyzerá ..

In Holland we had DAF (known from the trucks, now part of PACCAR, their engines are also sold in the USA as PACCAR in KW and petes)

DAF sold their car plant in the late 70's to Volvo.

Ik ben ook zeer geinteresseerd in Tatra techniek, ook iets unieks.

A, ik snap het. Mijn Tsjechische tic is vooral blijven hangen aan de eerste Skoda van Opa en Oma. Geweldig autootje. De tweede was helaas wat minder geweldig, maar de tic was toen al ingegroeid. Tatra techniek is ook schitterend, bijv. de 603 rijdt en klinkt geweldig.
