  • I heard this one time in 1979 and never forgot it. I love it. Thanks so much for posting it.

  • Best song on the album but for some reason it isn't on the Native Son track one of the You Tubers put out--strange!

  • This is my first time hearing this incredibly beautiful song., Pretty Princess, and Wow it won't be my last. It was very powerful to me.

  • wow! this sounds surprisingly great~

  • @dianacarole Thanks!!!

  • I don't ever recall seeing open reels for sale in record shops in Houston growing up in the 1970s.

  • Awesome Tape Deck! :) How much did this cost back in the day pus a tape album? Thank you for posting.

  • Thanks!!! I do love it. I wasn't even born at the time of this machine, so I'm not really sure how much this particular deck retailed for when it came out. I am trying to find out though. As far as the albums, I'd assume certain shops did carry them, may have been rare even back then - not really sure. I do know that Columbia House made titles available on RTR format into the early-mid 1980s, though they can be expensive sometimes. Thanks again for viewing and keep in touch!
