The fucking Senate and the Congress dont seem to get it, the banks are PRIVATE, how many times does it have to be said? No government dictates how people run their own private affairs. @brick38 Voice. MLK/Malcom X were prominent figures so people listened. If a99 acted as such, who would even pay attention? It's the nature and mode of their protest/voice that draws attention, even if it is a complete rip from XXX. Additionally it projects the intent of uniting under a goal or idea, rather than behind a person. MLK/malcom were leaders, A99 doesn't seem to seek this prominent role, but rather that of an instigator or motivator.

All seven of the Fed Governors are appointed by the President.  The Fed, while autonomous, is also part of the Federal Government of the USA so that Congress cannot meddle in monetary policy (see Maxine Waters ethics issues with getting TARP money for her husbands bank to know what meddle is).
