  • What is the name of this dish on minute 2:23 ???

  • I respect georgians and their cousine but 3:09 - is "dolma" (pure azerbaijanean cuisine) and only azeri dish.

  • @so2murad

We have our own variant called '' Tolma"

    your welcome mate ;)

  • @gogiano TOLMA !? and what does it mean in georgian ?

  • @so2murad

    it's georgian Food's name : )

  • @so2murad explane me why dolma is azerbaijanian or armenian??

  • @so2murad it isnt azer;s or armenian;s ...this dolma is in leaves of grape...and its georgian

  • @khatoshka the word "dolma" means "fulfilled" in Azeri, but tell me what the fuck dolma means in georgian if it is georgian food. So from here - it's ancient azeri word and food.C*

  • @so2murad i'm georgian and i know dolma is azeri food but this is georgian tolma in grape leaves and it is quite different from original azeri dolma... dont get mad at people that dose not know food origin... azeris and georgians have THE BEST cuisine on earth...

  • @so2murad

your language is turkish, your culture is turko-persian, your alphabet was arabic, cyrillic and latin, your religion is arabic and the name of your country is hardly 200 years old. look at your costumes and architecture , you look like you just arrived from samarkand. i have nothing against you turks but dont pretend that you are indegenious in the caucasus.

  • @vaazma it's not your deal judging my language and religion, besides nothing of what u said is in Azerbaijani architecture - go and see Baku's architecture in pictures for example, it;s all european architecture ! yes some very ancient churches are only in easter style all 19th sentury ones in european.

  • @so2murad It's our variant and is named "Tolma"

  • @so2murad you're right and we are not stealing it by any chance! every 1 year old baby knows in Georgia that Tolma has azerbaijanian roots.. but our Tolma is way different from Azerbaijanian, if you'll have a chance to be in Georgia any time you should try it, it's different from azerbaijanian Dolma. there are lots of azerbaijanians living in Georgia, that is the reason why we Georgians have assimilated Dolma

  • @georgianBBCH yes, sure. the caucassean cousine is very integrated :)). Azeri and Georgian cousines are very ancient. However, russian and armenian cousines are all stolen from turk ie. russian shashlik (indeed "shishlik" in turkish), kolbasa (indeed "gol basa" meaning "press with hand"), cheburek (indee "chiy borek") and many more..

  • @so2murad you're right! but also Greece has something very much alike to Tolma as well, and they are acknowledged to be the owners of the receipt in the world.. and armenians have everything that their neighbor countries have created, only they are always saying that it's their own... armenians are just stealers, they have nothing, that's the only reason they are such insinuating and misappropriate, i don't wish anybody to have them as a neighbors..one can say the same about russian prostitutes

  • @so2murad Variations of dolma are found all over Eastern Europe.

  • @thesearethesuns of course variations of dolma found in Azerbaijani cousine itself, but the word "dolma" is azeri word, and its traditional food of the country apart from the states that have adopted it.

  • @so2murad Okay, thanks, I didn't know that.

  • @so2murad tons of countries have that.. greece, armenia, turkey, syria, lebanon, iran, azerbaijan, georgia, etc. its not a pure azeri dish.

  • @weirdbagel I never said they don't cook our traditional food, I just said it is dolma and the "dolma" is azeri word.

  • @weirdbagel come on then, tell me what means "dolma" in your language (or in language of thos states you listed me) ... I'm waiting

  • @so2murad i believe its from dolmathes a greek word

  • @weirdbagel what ??? dolmaa...hahahahhaaaaaaa!!! thanks for making me laugh !

  • @so2murad dolma is used by armenians too. persians call it dolmeh.

  • @weirdbagel I repeat again : OF COURSE ONE COUSINE THAT BELONGS TO ONE PARTICULAR NATIONS'S CULTURE MAY BE USED IN CUISINES OF THE OTHER NATIONS BUT - IT IS ORIGINALLY AZERI COUSINE WITH A NAME HAVING A MEANING IN AZERI LANGUAGE ONLY. DOESN'T REALLY MATTER HOW OTHER PEOPLE TO COOCK IT PRONOUNCE ITS NAME. For example I also coock pizza but I know that its italian and its name too.Hope that makes a sence to you.

  • @so2murad azerbaijani culture is young greek and persian have been around so much longer.

  • @weirdbagel young !? lol ! and how you defined it to be young !? :)) Sorry but things are not the way u say just cuz you want them to be like that, our culture is the most ancient, btw the oldest culture is Egyptian not greeak or persian .

  • @so2murad i really dont know is it azeri or not and even not interesting. but I m just interesting what does dolma means in azerbajan language?

  • @giorgii1 something like to "to be stuffed" in Azeri but in real as how the big part of the world acknowledges it; it's a Turkish food from Ottoman cuisine. they have one of the richest cuisines in the world. Dolma is popular in many places from Central Asia to Balkans, from Caucasus to Russia but all the rest have their own kind while Turks make various versions of it. I don't even understand why people fight over it cause I dont like it much :D

  • @so2murad i didnt say that. turkish nomads arrived in azerbaijan during the seljuk period. persian culture has been around longer. and the oldest civilization is sumerian not egyptian.

  • @weirdbagel you from Tanzania right !?" I don't realy have doubt you know history better than me ". lol !!

  • @so2murad bro, dolma is from Turkish (Ottoman Empire) cuisine. check from web; it is Turkish! Turks have too many kinds of it while we have only one in general. but yes various kinds of this is popular in Middle East, Arabic world, Balkans, Russia, Caucasus, Central Asia and South Asia but it doesn't mean anything. mənim şəxsən sevdiyim yeməklərdən biri deyil.

  • @so2murad so am i wrong then?

  • @so2murad

    Dolma in grape leaf ?

May be it's Azerbaidjanian food, but very popular in Georgia ...

    Best wishes to Azerbaidjan !

  • @Georgianish best wishes to Georgia from Azerbaijan dear friend :)
