This game seems to be so easy with 95 percent of the enemies not wielding a Lightsaber. Hack and Slash your way through enemies like hot knife through butter. As a Star Wars fan, I would like to see more enemies with Lightsabers such as Jedi Knight series. It gives a more satisfying feeling when you defeat a dark jedi/jedi rather than wave after wave of defenseless troopers.

This game wasn't designed to be difficult, but all the glitches and the shitty targeting system make this game more challenging than it should have been. The fact that they didn't copy GoW's style of having set camera angles in certain areas has probably caused alot of controllers to be thrown and broken.

Most games have bugs, imo it's just the part of the game. For instance turok is one of the most buggy games for a console but i still enjoyed it:D

When I upgrade the force powers, it says that I have to press [ or ] to cycle through upgrade menus. When I try to press this, nothing happens...

this game was fun, but i was dissappointed with the enemies. the great thing about the jedi knight games (very similar to this one) was that youd encounter jedi/sith as regular (albeit challenging) enemies throughout most levels, and those battles added so much replay value. in this game every JEDI character is a boss battle of some sort, and the enemies you spend most of your time fighting are simply beefed up stormtroopers that can incredibly take several lightsabre blows to the face.

The story-line for this game was terrible. The Empires big plan for ridding the galaxy of all who oppose them is getting them all together and having them create the Reble Alliance, the force that ultimately destroy's them. I sorry but how does that make any sense?!?!!!? Also there is no jedi/sith in all of time that could take down first Darth Vader and then The Emperor, not Darth Revan, not Luke Skywalker, no one. I really hope this isn't the offical Star Wars history because it makes me sad.

@robloxfan459 I'm sorry but it's stupid. There are countless tactical accounts of a military force driving wedges in between an enemy force because an enemy divided is an enemy weakened. Not only does The Empire not do this but they actually bring their enemies together thus making them stronger. The Emperor even comments on this at the end of the game saying that they should keep an eye on The Rebel Alliance because it'll be their undoing. Which of course it is and in the end destroys them.

Simultaneous strikes on different suspected worlds giving's them no chance to form a counter attack and you have the bonus of doing it all at the "same time," as you said. This was a great game but it did not live up to the hype in any way. The platforming absolutely sucks and the targeting and camera can be frustrating. I think LucasArts released it too soon. They should have kept working on the game instead of working on 3 new levels for that year after release. I just hope they make Force Unleashed 2 as epic as the teaser.

Wow, this review is SO much better than the IGN one. That's ironic, because I've been a big IGN fan for years and go to them for all my reviews. However, a year or so ago when the IGN one came out I saw it and decided not to get the game. I picked the game up after Christmas and haven't put it down since. I went back to see what made me not get it earlier and the IGN review not only downplays the game too much, but the person playing on screen sucked. This one is much better, IMO.

The story was "eh" to say the most. Not bad but the thing that pissed me off the most was the lack of character development and the overzealous use of force powers. The main character is hardly ever developed at all. He does a few good deeds here and there but that's it. Juno isn't developed in the slightest and her relationship to the main character was thrown in there out of nowhere for the sake of a cliche romance. The game had lots of potential but didn't live up to it.

Starkiller is supposed to be this super powerful dark jedi under the SITH LORD but why is it like when he gets around that girl, he's like a hormonal teenager... isn't the dark side supposed to like corrupt everything about you?? i don't see how someone can be raised from a toddler to an adult and be all compassionate... just crossed my mind. comment back and correct me if i'm wrong haha.

Well, think of Starkiller like Anakin, who became Vader. Anakin /did/ in fact turn to the dark side but later in the series it was revealed he was still good. In Starkiller's case, despite his upbringing to be a merciless sith, he still had deep down compassion and goodness contained under the rough exterior, which became evident as he met Juno. And hey, you can't really blame him for being somewhat of a hormonal teenager, since his teachings under Vader very likely didn't include sex ed..lol

I've played through the whole game like 4 times and had never had problems with glitching, freezing, or force grip targeting issues. The only thing I would change would be to make it so you could choose the dark side or the light side. In a more major way than just fighting a different boss and getting a different end cutscene. I mean like completely different missions.)

I didn't like it. It seemed like a hype game. They got all this cool technology and this awesome story and gameplay but you find out it's actually average. The tech is nice but i doubt the Euphoria engine is ever used in this game, enemies flail around like ragdolss and the DMM is glitchy at best. Story is cool but not very imaginative. Gameplay was frustrating. Design is awesome though, levels were nice and i especially liked the costumes. To me it was just an average game that got to much hype

I traded it in, but I kind of want to play it again...The bosses are sort of frustrating, but the gameplay is basically repetitive...plus, the famed scene where he takes down the ship from the sky is long and endless...the first time around isn't so great, but once you have most of the upgrades, it's fun...graphics great, fun to play with the force powers
