I am sure that there is a name for this drill, but this looks like a version of the Wall and the Ball drill. Where you work on the fundamental footwork of Push-Step-Slide. We use the Wall and the Ball because we never have enough players for practice. So players find a section of a wall, grab a basketball, and work solo for 2-3 mins.

i remember sa interview sabi ni kobe "blackout" daw ang name ng drill na ito.. kasi meron ibang ballers nag papass out sa drill na ito masyado mahirap but effective.

No. If the ball was purely going side to side, then he should be in defensive stance sliding side to side. But if it gets behind him or ahead of him, he should slide, sprint, then slide.

HAHA that's the point of the mini-camp. they teach the basics! but that doesn't necessarily mean that it's their weakness. Si mike G. tinuruan ng dribbling. So meaning hindi sya magaling? pare,baka patumbahin ka lang nun sa isang crossover. mini-camp yan.
