  • colt looks Perfect! That color? breath taking!

  • I went and signed up with Hooftube so I can watch & listen to your videos. I don't get all this audio disabling all of sudden on YouTube. Crazy.

  • I love you

  • No, I am, lol! You're amazing. You have no idea how much your methods have helped me and others....OK, well, maybe you know. Keep filming and posting the videos, please! And I really enjoy all the great musical accompaniment, hehehe

  • WOW!!! :) I'm your biggest fan!!

  • Great vid, it was kinda funny cause it was fast.

  • wow this is really cool! Beautiful colt!! He was really good for his first time!!

  • Brilliant Video yet again Paul! Just one question though....Do you EVER come off? lol I'm sure you must use superglue!! Tx

  • Some critics say... Geez. Do you think they could have gotten as close to that horse as you did w/o loping the horses legs off? BEFORE you tapped? (whole or half)

  • Great video that colt is an absolute beaut'!

  • That was really nice, Thanks Endo!!!

  • Fun fun fun. Endo, you're the best! :))))

  • Just want to say hi! and I will work any horse you started for any purpose any time anyday anyhow!

  • Fun to watch, as always, Paul. I have yet to order the TAP flash, due only to procastination. Kind'a wish I had ordered it already for one for a rather large fellow I'm starting right now. Other horses going well, but I'm anxious to try your technique, as it's really fascinating. Keep up the good work with the exhilerating music!!!

  • Thanks, I have a new site coming soon that will allow instant downloads of the TAP which will be quicker..

  • endo,i have the tap drive and have tried it out on my 6 year old arabian.i haven't been able to get him down and now he has learned to evade by backing up really fast.next time i try should i be rocking him if i get him in the right position-would this make it any easier to get him down?

  • If he's backing up it's working and he's trying to beat it, so stick with him when he backs up no matter how fast he goes. Letting go when he does this gives him a door and he'll head for it every time. The TAP isn't just physical, the psychological effect plays a great part so when you "stick em" and are still there after their evasion attempt, they'll give it up and you'll have them.

  • The hardest part of the TAP is the psych of the handler because they'll think it's not working the first sign of trouble. You have to read the signs, evasion is good and is the best time to take advantage of this slight panic to turn up the heat and follow thru. The quiet ones that stand there zonked out are the ones you give you dead arm and have you sleeping well that night..lol

  • I really appreciate that you are really honing in on the psychology of horse training and starting. We're going to learn so much with this new group! You're going to become part of every country's language,"Man, I really Endo'd that one--it was awesome!" LOL

  • Love your new training video, could not hear your comentary....keep up the great work Paul, I love watching you work with horses...

    Cathy aka Xiphias

  • beautiful horse! good video as always. and a envy your skills.

  • Beautiful to watch as always..

    Love Mel x

  • Another great one Paul!! You never cease to amaze me! These horses start out trusting you and end up adoring you and it really shows!!

Cant wait to see more of this beautiful horse!

  • Like the night starting. But I agree with 2b, please don't change your technique. What you do does work, and we love watching. Comming from a Endo groupie.

  • Thanks, I'm just trying to show versatility as some critics say laying them down is all I can do. The next ones will be full-taps. Should be up by the weekend ok.

  • Very nice!!!!! Now if only I could send my young un to you. . .You make it look so easy! Well sort of. ;)

  • Looks like this colt's daddy liked to run in the money...hopefully, he will, too!

  • A pleasure to watch you at work Paul, as always.

Oh, and the "Graveyard Shift" comes after the "Swing Shift" . . .

  • I still don't understand what the TAP is.

  • what is the "tap" technique? im sorry if this is a stupid question haha but im curious

  • Yes, just as jenrific says: simple, practical and so stress free too.

  • Nice Paul. Simple - practical and genious. Good work.

  • The BeeGees, wasn't expecting that... but a perfect music choice. Hehehe!

Hey Paul have I told you lately how much respect I have for what you do?

BAREBACK... you are either completely insane or just the MOST awesome and gutsy colt starter I have EVER seen. Surely a rider with the most confidence and biggest NADS in the whole world.

Noticed you seemed to be posting replies at a different time lately. Have fun working the 'Swing Shift' (that's 3pm to 11pm in the States). LOL!

  • Julz, they can't be that big if he's riding bareback....lol

  • Just figured Paul was parting them down the middle and using them to help his balance!

    ROFLAMO!

    :~)

Hey, YOU started it Dea.... Ahhahhaaa!

  • GAWD! Now I'm getting bad as JOE... that was supposed to read... 'rofl MA o'!

But did you notice Dea, Paul's voice is getting a little deeper.

    Ahhh, puberty!

    Hehehe!

  • Don't worry, the next one will probably fix that...lol

  • Hello. I'm wondering about the different approach. Half-tap worked great, I see, but are you varying your technique in preparation for another colt starting challenge? Kudos for keeping your style flexible, but remember, what you do works and you shouldn't be shy with it because of the judges. Have you considered hosting your own TB starting challenge? You should bring these guys to you!

  • hi, not really changing but trying to help the fence sitters out who are undecided about the TAP. Comparing reactions to mounting before and after, people can clearly see that mounting using the half-tap works. That session took 45mins start to finish and as you saw when I took the blanket off, the horse didn't raise a sweat. No other starting system can do that, a few laps around the pen is enough for them to break into a sweat. More coming soon ok..

  • Does anyone work harder than you? I don't think so! I always walk away with some wisdom from you -- when my broodmare (who is so sweet normally) gets spazzed out over something (her eyes glaze over and she turns into a psycho) I'll keep her moving in small circles until she snaps out of it. She is a tank and towers over me so when she gets nutty so it is a little intimidating. --That reminds me, need to buy a vest. . . Thanks, Paul. Stay safe -- We all love you! Keep 'em coming!

  • I love the Bee Gees!

  • He is a quick one, looked like fun. stay safe

  • great start to a new series, as usual!!! he is reeeally nice looking.. Thank YOU Paul....

  • Cool, Paul! Just get right on, why dontcha! Thanks for posting, I'm looking forward to this series!! Now, go get some sleep...

  • Nice to see some natural mane for a change. Pull the mane, and his energy will disappear, just like Samson. Otherwise, your technique seems OK...

  • IMPRESSIVE, StarFox! It almost looks as of you've being doing that sort of stuff before...lol - That is one nice looking colt, by the way...
