i found RTR a huge let down, it isnt that realistic, for 1 theres no testudo, no onagers, the legions dont have loricas, i know early Legions were chainmail but later legions did have loricas. and after Gaius Marius theres like a tiny selection, of troop types, there isnt even any spear men or light infantry, its a huge let down, although if any1 knows any fixes or answers u know im all ears

well either way you cant play online unless you buy an original legit copy. Id tell you to use hamachi to play online but the problem is the "Invalid CD" comes up just as you click Multiplayer

Thank you very much^^ ! RTW: BI is an official expansion for RTW. This mod is free and changes various things like the factions, units, textures, campaign game (including new area's!!), gameplay and the AI. I really recommend this mod!

You mean download RTR?

Well, If I were you I would continue your campaign and download RTR afterwards. Remember that RTR does not features the senate-system. They are all stand-alone. That is a disadvantage, but overall the game is much more realistic. I will not downgrade my game to the vanilla version :P.

also try M2TW and the new Empire total war. Dont play it but it seems to be the best total war version so far ;P
