I'm not surprised if my opponent uses 10 strings.. i mean it is one of the character's move set.. why not use it? usually it can launch your opponents midway and you can connect it into a juggle which i find very resourceful.. it's just the matter of being able to use it as a mix up and for the opponent to react w/ blocks and low parry to counter or even sidestep if quick enough o.o
I gotta give props to the Nina player for using her 10-strings.
Nina's ten strings were the first that I learned and the only ones that I know how to use (not that I would use this in a high-level fight, but still.)
No, he said Nina Williams. It's just you hearing Anna. When he says Anna Williams his voice is a lot higher and he doesn't say it as fast as he does Nina Williams.
But still, the major flaw of 10 strings is the low parry in every one. It is easy to see in a lot of people's 10 strings. Especially someone like Nina. I can understand him falling for it once because of how rarely someone will use them. But the other two times he knew that it could come as well as when the low would come out so he should have just parried and got free damage. His loss.
Well Nina has one of the best 10 hits in the game because you can actually mix her's up, there's two ten hits that's a sudden low and you can mix up her other ten hit aswell. with the jabs and kicks.
I think a lot of people underestimate 10 hit strings. Since a lot of newer players assume "good people" never use it, they assume they shouldn't practice against it. It's gimmicks but it can win a round or two.
