University of Texas sounds like it's THE university of Texas, when it's not the only one, hence I'm pretty sure that's why Ags tend to refer to UT as TU. Gives it less umph I guess.

HMMM funny, I don't think any academic would call tu, or whatever you choose to refer to it as, the greatest university in the STATE, much less the country. I'm sure you, and half the people posting here, didn't graduate from that university, so it really makes very little difference to you anyway.

That's nice, with the typical poise and class I would expect out of a t-shirt fan, but not a sip. I have two degrees, one in history, one in anthropology, and am not at graduate school purely for financial reasons. I have multiple members of my family with mathematics, engineering, education, and economics degrees, and call several professors of both history and anthropology personal friends.

If you can clean your mouth up a bit I might believe or respect you.
