That is so true! We ride alot during the warm seasons, and we used to have alot of guys who owned Hondas, Yamahas,Cats and other brands. They stood buy their bikes through and through, and all other bikes in their minds sucked! That was untill we got out on the trails in deep mud and water. Through the years all those guys bought a POLARIS. It's kina funny. I also have a 500 it's a very good bike!!

That is the downside of the belt CVT. Water makes it to the belt and you don't go anywhere til it drys off. I doubt water made it to the motor intake though, should be alright, it would have quit if the intake was flooded.
depends my old suzuki didnt die until a year later i opened the heads and they were rusted and for the belt drive as long as he doesnt let the atv die it wont stop and the water wont go in
Naw, A hard splash can wet the belt on the Polaris atvs. I've had it happen quite a bit. Usually if you take it slow tho you can go in really deep and just keep the front end floated up enough.
NEVER let go of the throttle then ur in water that deep cause one u let go.. the pipe sucks on water and can destroy the belt and the rest of da motor
