Wow! Dick Tufeld, the voice of the Lost in Space Robot! Tufeld was not only the voice over for this Spiderman series promo, but he did the opening narrationn for the animated "Spiderman and Frriends" in '83.
I watched this show when it aired in the late 70's. Even then it had a cheeziness to it but still fun to watch. Great times. CBS had Spiderman, Hulk, Wonder Woman and (I believe) Captain America and Shazam/Isis. Had lots of fun watching these shows. These bumpers brought back some fond memories.
The story behind the new Spider-Man film is that Raimi and Mcguire with the others quit as the 4th movie had a horrible script and was a cluttered mess thus they decided to reboot it since Mcguire was getting too old for the part
I actually remember this promo.

So do i, i use to watch reruns of this on syndicated TV back in 85 and had them taped when i was 4. What do you think of Andrew Garfield as Spidy?

@Johnlindsey289 Still got my vhs copies I bought back in 98. I would rather haves seen the story continue with Maguire.

Ruthless Mr. White, LOL, Funny since this was about the time of white guilt started by Roots in 1977!

I would have liked to have seen Joanna Cameron stayed and not have had Ellen Bry ( Julie Masters)

Nice promo. This would go good with all the Spidey episodes I have posted. Where'd you get it?

Why mention "Mr. White"?! He was completely made up for the show, no one would have known who he was anyway!

Ah, Joanna Cameron. Too bad they didn't keep her as a regular in the show.
