the thing i noticed is that face makeup is way to dark makes her face darker then the rest of her skin .

@TheGotheena1 If she's going to be photographed, the flash will slightly wash out her face. If the foundation matched perfectly, her face would look lighter than the rest of her body. My foundation is a shade darker than what really suits me, but in flash photography it matches my neck. They do the same thing for red carpet events.

When you're doing someone else's makeup, do you get a fresh brush every time you need to apply more eyeshadow, or do you re-dip and sanitize the eyeshadow later? Or do you rub a sponge over the shadow and apply from the sponge? I've always wondered this.

This was a Christina Augilera inspired look. She has a similar the skin complexion and hair color to the singer. That is why cool, dark colors were used on the model. But I do agree with you, warm colors would have suited her better.

Actually they are, sourced from a statement in one video; so to speak of nicola talking about why she and her sister never makes videos together. There's plenty of factors that could make differences in their accents, like perhaps if one sister was exposed to a different location, an effect from moving. Hi Nicola - I've just seen the Christina album cover that I think you have taken the look from, and it is amazing how well you have replicated such a highly styled look, including the bottom lashes which are an integral part of the image as it appears on the album (for the posters who are complaining about them). Posting discouraging comments is probably making Sam and Nicola question why they are doing this since some posters are not appreciating their efforts. Which actually can ruin it for the rest of us that are very keen to learn from these girls.

As they say, it is easier to point the finger than to lend a helping hand. I hope that registers with some of the discouraging posters so they can realise some of the negative effects their comments can actually have.

Secondly, to the discouraging posters, who cares if the foundation is too dark? Who cares if you don't like the lashes? The looks are obviously provided as a technique you can follow if you choose. It is what you make out of it. The vids are not there for discouraging posters to give a critique, they are there as a GUIDE of how to achieve this look.

We have 2 talented makeup artists sharing their techniques as well as their time with us, and if people can't appreciate it, they should piss off.
