Oh, also wanted to add that the Verve vs. Verve Pipe comparisons are stupid, and that both were great. Richard Ashcroft and Brian Vanderbilt Ark both had excellent voices. Would have been interesting to hear both of them sing together. Wonder if they ever met?
Great song by a great band. Not as good as their 'Villians' album, though. It's a shame they got no recognition after this album. The moral of this song: Everyday actions of kindness can be heroic. : )
This band is amazing. Brian Vander Ark is so extremely talented in his songwriting it's amazing. He's like 10 of the most talented songwriters, poets, and musicians that have existed rolled into one gorgeous man! I love his songs, I love his voice, his acting was awesome in Rockstar, and "Colorful" is one of the most beautiful songs ever! Plus I love they're from MI, not far from where I lived, only 10 years earlier than them, but that's besides the point LOL. I hope for new music from them!
@SnappyPenguins: Improve your vocabulary before attempting to insult someone with a word that does not exist and the word you're attempting to say applies more to yourself than to your intended audience.
Fuck you and fuck your fucking ugly family, why the fuck do you like such fucking bullshit music you fucking retards. The Verve are the greatest band of all time and you fucking tards insult them. You probably like bullshit like Lady Gaga too.
@CaptainCocaine Fuck you, you fucking shity douchebag, I hope you have five knives rammed into your face and you lay bleeding in a pile of pig shit for two whole days before you die, motherfucking homosexual dick.
@SnappyPenguins The Verve is hardly the greatest band of all time, they're good but not great. And just so I don't confuse you Lady Gaga sucks. Her music sucks, her performances suck, she's hopefully by the grace of God a trend for the brainless and will be gone soon. I can't believe people even buy into her bullshit act.
Let's see, the Verve vs. The Verve Pipe. One rips off the Stones for the only song that most of us heard in America, the other wrote albums worth of outstanding songs, and never got called for plagiarizing songs.
Wow the ignorance. There are absolutely no comparrison between the Verve Pipe and the Verve. One was an English band and the other an American band. One was started in Michigan as a alternative band, and the other as a Psychadelic band. Oh, and the Pipe is much better. They actually have soul!
lol yeah i love the verve pipe n the freshman is one of my favorate songs, but they dont hold a candle to the verve, i didnt see this as really mocking the verve but theres obviously a refrance to it. if they were mocking the verve they arnt laughing now lol
Is that Johnny Knoxville introducing them? Looks like Johnny Knoxville. Awsome song. I wonder is this is where Blue October got the idea for the video for their song "Calling you"
classic 1999 stuff man...... the best remedy for an otherwise shitty year for music dominated by britney and the backstreet girls. 1997 was the last full year of good music. who's with me? i admit 1998 was all right but there was too much of a death of good alt-rock and a rise of pop. at any rate the hiphop of those years was better than today's mainstream hiphop and all the whiny emo crap and castrated "indie" shite poisoning the radio today wasn't big yet..ah the memories
r u kiddin me? my adorable decade will be on 90s. from grunge to modern rock....i can't get bored of any rockers which belong to the 90s.....today's music.....besides the reunion band and few talented singers and musicians....60% super dumb and 40% are for real.....its real
And you know what I just realised, that's johhny knoxville doing the intro and ending! Back when this came out jackass had'nt even been born yet wow how cool!!!
This is really cool I actually have this on tape and I recorded it the same time you did sunday night on 120 minutes! Cool coincidence thanks for uploading it!
None else think they're poking fun of the bittersweet symphony music video?
