@Shroudedman Thieves guild members can bribe imperials, the Stormcloaks are uber racist, the Legion has better armor and weaponry, and the Legion has a much better chance to defeat the Aldmeri Dominion. It makes next to no sense to join the rebellion if your any race besides a Nord.

If the Imperials won, Skyrim and the Empire would be unified against the Elves and would have a better chance of victory. The Stormcloak rebellion is only about Ulfric. Did you know General Tullius hates the Elves exactly for the same reasons as the Stormcloaks? Also, if you join the Imperials you'll get Ulfric's armor..

@SwerdThaViewer Well, his armor is SHIT. I play on Master but I decided to use his clothes anyway. Enchanted it for less magicka % use in Restoration so I can heal my ass quickly before I get killed (often get instantly killed anyway though). And then spend some % in the one-handed skill, muffled boots and a little bit into Destruction magicka use so that Restoration wouldn't be too overpowered. Enchanting exploits ruin saves. I don't recommend them.
