My partner is Qatari national. She used to work at a blind-school and volunteer at handicap centre in Qatar. Ramadan or not, the community lacks heart-felt charity. Qatari are extremely religious community, and wealthy. The people running these schools and centres are fully corrupt and use the handicapped (children) as a means to exploit the charity funds. Those that donate don't care where the money goes. They only donate to fulfil Islamic "duty". No Heart, no Love, no God.

I have to say, the community i come from, or the background i come from isn't like that. I have yet to see a ramadan table that looked like the ones that you posted on the video. I think that some people do things out of practice... there are tons and tons of muslims in the world who are so simply because their parents were, and their parents parents were, they have no connection with the meanings of the religion beyond traditions. Criticism is good, it's required. My partner is Qatari national. She used to work at a blind-school and volunteer at handicap centre in Qatar. Ramadan or not, the community lacks heart-felt charity. Qatari are extremely religious community, and wealthy. The people running these schools and centres are fully corrupt and use the handicapped (children) as a means to exploit the charity funds. Those that donate don't care where the money goes. They only donate to fulfil Islamic "duty". No Heart, no Love, no God.

I have to say, the community i come from, or the background i come from isn't like that. I have yet to see a ramadan table that looked like the ones that you posted on the video. I think that some people do things out of practice... there are tons and tons of muslims in the world who are so simply because their parents were, and their parents parents were, they have no connection with the meanings of the religion beyond traditions. That is why ramadan for some people is like thanks giving.

zakat is fixed since 1400 ago , taxes vary according to the need .

I must say, you are right about many things in this video. Muslim usually have feasts every evening of Ramadan, which is sad, as this is not right:

Well Muhammad did say things like help the orphans etc, but this only really applies to orphans of muslim parents because there are historical records of muslims attacking non-muslims during muhammad's time and their children were taken as slaves... some were freed, some were forced to convert others were.. not lucky i guess...

He's got quite clear and good explanations of things, I haven't read the whole Quran yet, only up to verse 8 ha, so I can't really express a fully supported opinion on the Quran but hopefully I will get back to you with a disagreeing comeback or agreeing support when I'm done with the whole book haha ;)

i am an exmuslim so i have fasted many times and i did it coz i was suppose to, not as a spiritual thing... most muslims do it coz they hope to get hand-outs after death...

If you have pain for poor people You will be first one to start helping them. You show pictures of poor people in comparsion of muslims eating food, Why dont you show pictures of poor people and then Horeshoe casino where people are gambling $100,000 per bet

Assalamualaikum... muslims did donate to african countries... infact my country have lend so many help to Uganda and somalia every year... did you ask your leaders where did the money gone? you african don't even care to strive and only fighting each other, how could other people help you. Quran says: He (Allah) will never change the fate of a race until they change it themselve...

you have to give zakaat to muslims doesn't it say enough?
So you can not give something to a starving kaafir, unless it is in hope that he shall embrace islam! Nothing more to say for me.
