Yeah, God must have had a special plan. This child was so adorable it ought to be illegal. <3 Gawd, I love Declan. I wish he came back soon. His voice isn't as great as it was between his ages 7-14 but it's stil very pleasent and he outsings many great names. While nonetheless he's as gorgeuys and great personality as ever. Again, I wish he came back soon. And he'd deserve more recognizion globally. :)

i admire the guy, he can sing, but its flat at the begining and is at other parts of the song, plus his technique is shit, although i spose he is only 9 in this, bjut at the end hes almost screaming, he cant sing that high that loud. and he pushes the notes out at the end, and jerks the notes thinking its powerful but its just painful, alright for a 9 year old, but not great, plus, not being vain or anything, but i honestly beleive i was a better singer when i was that age

Both are good singers with very different singing styles, and their voice sounds different anyways, Joseph's voice has more steady choirboy tone whereas Declan's voice is more sharp, crisp, and volatile with a pop-star quality. Also, Joseph's version of the song was done when he was older than Declan and no doubt with more training and control than Declan has in his live debut.
