Great stuff! In '84 I was general counsel for ROLM Corp. which IBM acquired that year. I went to NY to meet IBM's general counsel, Nicholas Katzenbach. He was on the Board of Directors of the Washington Post, which owned WDIV-TV. Our conversation got around to sports and I told him I was a Tiger fan. He told me that ratings for WDIV Tiger games was so high that year that it really helped the whole company's bottom line!

The answer to the trivia question is Virgil Trucks, and he threw both no-hitters in 1952. Of course, Justin Verlander has now thrown 2.
