i go to a pentecostal church that believes and teaches the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I've seen people fall to the floor, and I have experienced it myself. But in all those years, I have NEVER seen a person go into convulsions while on the floor. I've seen them cry, laugh, and look completely at peace, but never anything like the clips you show here. What ive come to know is that a person will never fear the Holy Spirits touch. If they are afraid and convulsing that isn't of God.
Wow. This is extremely interesting & I think a point well-made. I'm a Pentecostal Christian and though I believe in being completely free and open to however His Spirit moves, I do agree that some of the "shows" people make of it may be a little out of control, whether it's in the flesh or in, according to your argument, the spirit of a demon. I've believed everyone I've seen fall the ground in the Spirit as genuine, but I do doubt how much is exaggerated for of people who are out of control.

The essence of the Gospel is personal tranformation resulting in Christ like attributes such as charity, faith, compassion, etc. This is the work of the holy spirit dwelling within us and is contrary to hysterical and superstitious "religious" activities.
Slain in the Spirit "give me a break" its more like being "Slap by Satan".
