  • It's Daft Punk and if you don't like this band, then you don't like real music.

  • @TheRiddler215 <<Implying that if a person has a different taste in "music" he doesn't qualify to listen to music at all. Suck a dick.

  • @Davisrullzs "Music" has math in it, so I'd say, yeah, there is bad music and good music. The only one sucking dick here is you for one of the many Eastern Euro porn companies in your shithole country,

  • Why has every video about this game got some damn stupid music all over it?!

  • I couldn't finish the video. I had get up and do the dick helicopter almost immediately.

  • @aello465 the best comment ever

  • i like the song ... :D

  • best ke catur ni?

  • boleh belajar dari dia ni...

  • wat the fuck is wrong with the audio.......o wow

  • good song!

  • damn dude, play some miles davis with that video or something more tasteful

  • poor poor poor video

  • what is this NOISE in the video? certainly isn't music, i can't even watch the damn video.

  • Please give me name of the music!!! PLEASE!!!!

  • @MrJeade97 Technologic, Daft Punk

  • @youuuuuuuuuuutube

    THANKS!!!

  • Would someone please be kind enough to write back to me and let me know what move it was that made Gary think Deep Blue had cheated? I have the pgn file and I thought it was something about Deep Blue not taking a pawn sacrifice but I can't see it. Please let me know thank you in advanced.

  • @xLucidDre4mx I think, by doing f7-f6 he sacrified the b5 pawn, because white can exchange bishop then the left pawn (which it does) and then do Qb6 threatening bishop and pawn and eventually take the pawn, but the computer does the Be4 instead of Qb6.

  • best video ever ... daft punk and chess ... best mix ever ! TECHNOLOGIC! best french band ever !

  • deep blue could have had him so many times

  • Wow :)

  • the music is shit

  • this song is awesome

  • music on a fucking chess vid? are u retard?

  • i love the song

    hahahahaha

  • stupid song

  • You fuckin idiots, the song is called technologic by daft punk and it suits the occasion perfectly

  • what the hell possessed you to put this stupid music on

  • horrible song, next video. Had to leave after only 15 seconds

  • Fucking excelent video! Was that C64 emulator?

  • crap video

  • Wait a sec how he cant make any moves when the black can still go with the King to e7

  • I guess Kasparov asked for a draw or defeat.

  • @CrysisFear

Kasp withdrew from the match, easy to see it was game over ;P

  • I flagged my first video.....is this considered eurotrash? Its kind of funny but shit I got the sound turned down and I can still hear it in my head

  • most enoying music in the history

  • @Davidrogerman lol wut?

  • @pablovsky85 a machine will always win in chess.

  • Is that music? I could only listen to 20 seconds of that song. That voice is unbearable.

  • @rmanpf That's why music has genre's. I'm sure theres plenty of music you like that other people can't stand either and wouldn't consider music, lol.

  • this is a game the NINTENDO!!! MASTER CHESS I BELIEVE THAT IS NAME.GOOD MUSIC EXELLENT.****

  • what is that song? I mean literally, what is it?

  • Technologic by Daft Punk.

  • Ridiculous waste of time.

  • the song is fucking annoying. Seriously

  • @yhwang1304 this song is fcing awesome. STFU. It fix to this just fine.

  • @misasiasi if you think this music fits to the game of chess, you either need new ears or a new hobby.

  • no way this is kasparov, this is fake!!!

  • No. Black (Kasparov) plays an in-between move (also known as a zwischenzug or intermezzo):

Deep Blue plays Qc6 threatening mate on e8...

but Kasparov plays Qb6+, checking the white king!

Thus, Deep Blue had to play Kf1 to avoid the check, and after that Kasparov plays Rb8.

If Deep Blue would've played Qe8+ after that, it would not be mate - Kasparov could just capture the Queen with his King because the Rook on a8 is blocked!

  • black checked white. White couldnt

  • but it was not Kasparov's turn, that's why Deep Blue did a Check, right after this iminence

  • NO! Why does everyone think this? White is in CHECK on that move...Black just played Qb6.

  • good video. This looks like chessmaster on a SNES console emulator.

  • My Kasparov vs Deep Blue (Game 2) vid is much better.

  • Crappy vid.

  • do all people understand the ending of game i dont understant i wont watch anymore masters matchs

  • if you look at it the last move if kasparov trades queens who loses another bishop and white is in a very commanding position with his pawns. If he doesnt trade queens he still loses a bishop.

  • No, it is actually an EXTREMELY complicated ending.

  • annoying music

  • lär dig schack ,before comment.

    miss. Ed

  • @EdBoonSucks: Kasparov was the blackside! =)

@mattbacken: even if he kept playing there would have been no hope! (is this sentence correct? I'm trying to improve my english)

  • that was so not a draw, they could have kept playing

  • And should have.

  • Very close game/ I should say that Deep Blue is great!

  • Which color was Kasparov in this?

  • this is ugly very close game

  • it cant kill the queen because the rock is on A8 and the pawns are covering the other exit so the king doesnt have an exit watch it carefuly

  • it wasnt his go :(

  • No, we don't. If he do this, the king just kill the Queen.

  • if u see in min 4:02 kspararov would of be able to do check mate by moving his queen to E8 agree with me????

  • Qb6 check, so he moved the king :)

  • btw, kasparov was black

  • at 0;31 he can play e4

  • e4 is the very first move of the game how could it be played at 0:31?

  • Garry Kasparov is the best Chess player in the world. I think he knows what he is doing.

  • the only daft punk song i dont like.....

you should have used voyager or one more time

  • I actually really liked the music.

  • gay freaking music

  • This dosent seem like the real game? Game ended later which much more peices taken

  • post anaylisis show kasparov could still draw with perpetual check at the end

  • Muy exelente explicacion gracias

  • music sucks!

  • music is fucking annoying

  • hell yah

  • yes white king was in chech :) but nic detection

    deuscondo !! ;)

  • whites king was in check

  • 3:59 Why didn't white move queen to E8 for the win?

  • Black checks, then white moves king giving black the chance to move his rook to defend.

  • hey deuscondo,

white king is in check at 3:59 so it is moved, otherwise that would have been a good move!

  • Because he was in check from 43...Qb6+.

  • fake

  • It is fake, real game wasnt like this

  • ha ha ha super nintendo game " the chessmaster " & the music sux ;(

  • what a fuckin graphic

  • what do you call the move at 0:27??

    sorry kinda new to chess

  • its a rochade! ;-) didnt knew it either when i saw it first...look up "en passant" also interesting

  • you mean castling kingside?

  • in this game it is proven by many grandmasters that it would be a draw....

...the correct move in the adjoured game is 1..Qe3 2Qxd6 Re8!!leading to a draw!..one possible variation is 3 Bf3 (if h4! h5! changes nothing) 3...Qc1+ 4.Kf2 Qd2+;5.Be2 Qf4+;6.Ke1 Qc1+;7.Bd1 Qxc3+!;8.Kf1 Qc1! and white's king cnt wriggle out of perpetual chech. thats all thank you...i got this from the book of GM Larry Evans..,,

  • Comment removed

  • Not quite. The grandmasters ALL missed (yes, shocking) that:

    45. ...Qe3

    46. Qxd6 Re8

    47. Qd7+ Re7

    48. Qc6!

    [very probably] wins.

  • Not really.

  • Alright how does Black draw from there then?

  • The computer moves are just a response of the previous move, no imagination or strategie. Which is against the spirit of chess.

Anyway well played, perfect moves. I see Kasparov as machine mode playing as well, he knew he would eventually be beated but anyway he never tried any creative move.

    Chess is death

  • Awsome song dude!

  • Dude, the music, not cool! :(

  • the song sucks

  • this is closed chigorin?

  • Nice game, very engaging and fresh music paced well against the unflinching determination and intensity dancing upon the board. Thanks for sharing.

  • best music ever. you guys just suck

  • Yeah, it's a good song but it really doesn't suit the video.

  • shitty music.

  • Good game.

    Shitty music.

    It just doesn't f''king fit.

It doesn't have to be classical, but at least make it tasteful.

  • I know I'll be shunned for saying this but that seemed like a fairly pedestrian game of chess

  • EPIC!!!

Daft Punk & Deep Blue = match made in heaven.

  • Shredder chess computer is good, i downloaded a free demo for 30 days and its unbeatable

  • shit music

  • Kasparov is the best, but the Deep Blue computer was far superior in terms of processing power and memory. It had over 700 000 professional matches in it's memory, all in complete detail, and a computing power of 200 million positions per second. No human brain can ever do that. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT DEEP BLUE WAS INTELLIGENT. It just means that it had superior memory and computing power, that is it!

  • i think the whole controversy over the match is based on that one move which seemed to be more of a human move than a computer move. intelligent as it is, a computer is still limited to short term results and it cant understand things like sacrafice now and win much later. its an interesting thing to think about. ps. what the hell msuic is this. grandmasters would decapitate themselves before playing chess with this music. lol.

  • From the video it is pretty clear that Deep Blue DID understand the idea of lose now, pay off later, there are a few times when it put one piece out in the open in hopes that Kasparov would take that one, but leave himself open later. Kasparov simply didn't fall for it.

Also, from the other vide "Deep Blue beat G. Kasparov in 1997" it says that Deep Blue was also programmed to recognize and utilize? patterns that chess Grandmasters would do. It also thinks 200 million moves per second :P

  • 3 million a second, actually, you are way off

  • Watch the video "Deep Blue beat G. Kasparov in 1997". It's right in the Related Videos list.

    I quote the video:

"Deep Blue challenges Kasparovs brain with an array of 256 processors that can examine 200 million possible moves every second. They call it the brute force approach."

  • worst fucking music.

  • some classic music would have fit better than this horrible mouse voice

  • I always beat my computer in chess, poor computer LOL XD

  • Try to win against Rybka. Or even Crafty.

  • u can all mute it if you don;t like it

  • what a horrible music. Kasparov is Great and IBm SUCKS

  • IBM beat him

  • that game is a draw pretty much

  • Great music. Daft Punk is awesome!

Another choice would be "Human After All"

  • Music was very distracting.

  • musica culera, IBM cheated :P

  • oh and what a crapy face you got

  • what a gay music choise.

  • music was very distracting

  • I love the textbook opening ;]

  • Yeesh, sorry. Didn't see that. To be fair, I was watching this match late. ^^,

  • that was the big question why would a computer do such a mistake not even a guy who's playing for a year would miss that opportunity.

  • idiot

the queen on b6 would get the king

  • I was enjoying the match, then at 3:58, I practically screamed when white didn't move the queen diagonally to e8 for checkmate...lol

  • idiot

the queen on b6 would get the king

  • menso withe coul not do check mate it was not his turn to move casparov moved tower infront of the withe tower so the withe could not do check mate.

  • if white moved Q to E8 then black would have moved Q to E8 to capture whites queen, not a check mate, but infact a loss of queen

  • but white's Queen cant move to E8..? Its on a black tile not white

  • good game musik sucks

  • whats the name of the song?

  • Amigo se llama technologig de Daft Punk

  • Daft punk - Technology

  • cmon no computer in the whole world can do this shit at 3.39. thats impossible!

  • whose black and whose white

  • black

  • Black is Kasparov.

    White is Deep Blue.
