Guys.... The developer of the FIRST Call of Duty had a daughter named samantha. She died at a young age and the team was devastated. They put Teddy bears in each game as a Memoral of her.

@2010blackhawkdown I've heard that and it makes no sense as apparently a Treyarch member of staff lost his daughter so they put it in the game, but it started in call of duty 2 which was made by infinity ward so I would just say it's a little joke by both Treyarch and IW to put into COD

I think people saying it was tribute to a treyarch members daughter who died are wrong as you use them in call of duty 2 as target practice. Call of duty 2 was made by infinity ward, not treyarch. For them both to adopt the idea I think shows it's a universal Cod sign in a way

Teddy Bears were first seen in the CoD2 mission ''Red Army Training''. My guess is that since then the developers over at Infinity Ward to thought of it as a little joke, and put them in MW2 (and possibly 3) aswell.

In the zombie mode they belong to Samantha, a little girl who's dad was one the creators of the zombies. They make the random boxes disappear and in the Black Ops zombies map Ascension they also have something to do with the music easter egg.

Theres one in the loose ends mission inside a terroist house lol, one in the multiplayer map estate inside the main house basement area where the bar is just hidden with some other junk and also check out the movie posters in that bar room lol, i will have a real good scout about over the next few days and see how many in all i can find. But wtf is up with teddy bears and sex dolls lol? it must be an inside joke.
