There is a product that can mitigate this instantly. The same product also trapped and controlled the largest anhydrous ammonia spill in NW USA history. If you are interested in a proactive approach to any unforeseen spill event then reply so we can speak outside this forum.

It was a transfer hose for agricultural ammonia. over 6,000 lbs were released.
