@ElijahJohnSanders incorporating the feet into the fin would hinder the bioengineering. the fin is multijointed, allowing for similar movements like a dolphin's tail for maximum propulsion. it would completely prevent these joints from properly flexing for the "backlash" needed in the water. lunocet has been modeled after nature in the most accurate ways possible. so far, the fin stretches, cups, reforms, and creates resistance in the water at just the right points with each flick.
I ordered a lunocet monofin and never received it after multiple promises/excuses from Ted Ciamillo. I ended up having to dispute the charge with my credit card company after a classic "your check is in the mail" final promise that a refund was coming. BTW, the check never arrived but thankfully my credit card company was very supportive of my dispute. Bottomline.... BEWARE!!!!
Surface area = drag. Most monofins rely on the push against the water to move it forward. This one... well... uh... best way to describe it = Bernoulli's principle. They based it off of dolphin's tail. Much more effective than just relying on the push of the water.
Hmm, what if you found a way to encase your feet it it, encorporating them into lift? Or at least getting rid of any drag?

Most other monofins have a lot more surface area, so what makes this as good or more effective? Airfoil?
