Thanks for posting this. Dan's Christmas album is a very much under-recognized treasure, and this is one of my favorite cuts from it.

It was such a tragedy to lose Dan so soon. I'm glad he left us this Christmas gift.

Dan's beautiful voice, singing praises to God for His Son's Birth in "The First Christmas Morning." I'm sure Dan is with his Heavenly Father now. I heard an interview with Dan once were he said that he was as proud of this compostion if not more than anything he had ever written. Such a gifted minstrel.

@chuckd5usa I'm not surprised he felt that way - although he wrote many wonderful songs. This is definitely my favorite track on Dan's Christmas album.
