  • God's good(:

  • Bring us back to You Lord, to Your Word, to Your will, to Your ways, keep us Lord in this last and evil day, keep us from the enemy and his deception. May we know You intimately Savior, May we always stand for righteousness and truth. Break every chain in our life that we may be free to serve you for now and throughout eternity, Amen.

  • I only want to cling to you, lord jesus, change me and make new, know life is with you and less of me, please lord, break these chains, let the fire burn bright inside of me so that I can give all your glory and grace u deserve, let the fear and worry stop cause u are all I need lord

  • Am so glad, no, happy, no... there is no word to describe how...rejoicful i feel that I found this wonderful song. I've never heard anything like this before. A simple piano, and wonderful, meaningful lyrics that i can relate to. Thank you God, Father for this song.

  • There are 15 Muslims by the way lol!

  • I'm so double minded. I read the bible and go to church i havent been going to chuch lately even but im gonna start this week again God willing I miss Yeshua and I serve Jesus one minute the next minute I go and sin and live my selfish life style the way i want I hate when I do.I need you Yeshua to break these chains I feel stuck and bound free me I ask in the name of Yeshua.I Repent Yeshua.Adoni Lee = The lord is for me!

  • @ImJoeCool99 I know what you mean-me too!

  • Awesome. A word in season! Just listen to the Holy Spirit in the song...do not focus so much on the clips!

  • About the 2nd photo, it looks like the father is leading the way, the boy is following him, and there's the person who took the photo who is unseen. He is not alone and we are never alone even though our feelings dictate otherwise. Glory to God for being there in my youth when I never knew it at the time. Praise God for showing me He was there going through what I went through with me and loving me all along.

  • Beautiful song. But I found the second photo at 45sec. to be disturbing. So typical of many men, to not protect the child. He's climbing on ahead and the boy is clinging to the rocks alone. That photo is a metaphor to the fatherless and orphan in this world. Where is the covering, the protection. If that boy stands up and falls it could crack his head open. God give us fathers who are not vacant and self-centered.

  • Listen to this video link it is a PROPHETIC MESSAGE to the Holy Woman of YAHUSHUA/JESUS

    /watch?v=RWFXK0OvKBg

  • Love the music at the beginning!!!~

  • This is a great song, but it's not "Break the Chains." Click on the one on the Recommended videos by clworship. That one is Break the Chains by Misty Edwards.

  • @AngelofChrist101. This is also from Misty Edwards, the double CD contains both versions

  • @AngelofChrist101 it's just the longer version of the song. Bapyize my heart also has a longer version that's 14 minutes long

  • tHIS mISTY EDWARDS IS ANNOITED.. NO SUGAR COATING THE WORD AT ALL.. I LOVE HER.. THANK YOU LORD FOR FORGIVENESS....

  • how much i love jesus! so muchh!

  • If my people who are called by My name would humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from there wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal there land...

  • @@@@@@

  • I like it

  • very powerful song

  • amen

  • I want to tell you.. Instead of taking a look to GOD or to HIM, you should turn your face to the nature and it`s eternity, universe. Divinity prevails there. The real faith.

  • @Joymerlin2 and all that needed a creator, worship the Creator Yaweh and His Son Yeshua by the power of the Holy Spirit, not the things He created. No idols, before Yaweh!

  • No matter what you do, no matter what you have done, no matter what you did, GOD LOVES YOU! Dont run and hide, DO NOT be afraid, just look at

    Him and you'll be ok!

  • Awesome word of truth!!!!

  • Thank you so much for this... it sounds so much like Tori Amos... Who is this singing? Is it Misty? Beautiful.

  • @LadyNemesis2007 Wow,what a comment,Tori Amos who Loves Lucifer vs Misty Edwards who Loves Jesus.

  • @aesthetictripp Tori Amos loves lucifer, who told you this, why would you spread such a blatant lie. Why ? Let me tell you... Because you are a HYPOCRITE.

You judge someone you have never met, someone you know nothing about, and try to spread lies in the comment sections of christian artists. Do you really think this is wise.

Is that what Jesus would have done ?

    You should be ashamed. Beautiful,

song. Its too bad it has too be darkened by such disheartening example of humanity.

  • @Graiskye She has a song called *father Lucifer and also openly admits it and also sides with Maynard Kenard of Tool who is also embracing of the Left Handed Path,so please retract your statement and I Love You,smile <3

btw, many great artists are led by demonic spirits, all music is Spiritual, and most are led by not good ones, bet on that, wish you the best, amin.

    Amen

  • @lydidagandfriends90 Amen ! He loves you and hears you ...He knows your heart ...There is forgiveness with him . You will finish the race ..Cry out to him ! I'm agreeing with you in prayer !! Write me anytime ..to talk or anything ..love you in Christ our lord and savior.

  • @lydidagandfriends90 Keep going, it's good that you realize your faults. Cry out to God everyday, He is faithful and will help you. God will come through for you. Keep that hunger, and thirst. Pray, worship, read your Bible, fast and meditate and of course attend and participate in your church. God bless you. Keep fighting the good fight!

  • @lydidagandfriends90 Amen to this prayer in words to our Father.. Help us Lord.. Be with us Lord.. U said you will never leave no forsake us Lord..

  • @lydidagandfriends90 I agree Lord...You alone know this heart even much better than I. I have been so spoiled and used to having things my way that I did not even consider Your Ways. For my own good I repent and hope I stay humble. Pride was the downfall of Satan and I don't want to join him in it and I am so glad that You love me too much to let that happen. It's all You Lord-to You be all the glory because only You deserve it. Amen...

  • Lord, Heavenly Father, Praise You and thank You, You alone are worthy, You alone are righteous and just, I praise You Adonai, I pray that You would deepen our relationship with You, deepen our love in You praise Adonai, praise Your Holy name. Lift us up and ignite in our souls Lord, undo us Lord, praise You in Jesus name amen,

  • This is such a power packed and annoited song! WOW! I wept and fell to my knees!

  • @kdbradbury Yes I agree and was overwhelmed with the oil of gladness, and the overflowing of that fountain found within that causes us to search our selves while God reveals our need, repent in tears upon knees with holy hands raised in praise.

  • @hughdiock- I cut and pasted from another source to answer your question. I'm not trying to come up with my own theology here.

  • @ hughdiok- Hundreds of years after Jacob and Esau had died, the Israelites and Edomites became bitter enemies. The Edomites often aided Israel’s enemies in attacks on Israel. Esau’s descendants brought God’s curse upon themselves. Genesis 27:29 tells us, “May nations serve you and peoples bow down to you. Be lord over your brothers, and may the sons of your mother bow down to you. May those who curse you be cursed and those who bless you be blessed.”

  • @ hughdiok- God choose Abraham out of all the men in the world. The Bible very well could say, “Abraham I loved, and every other man I hated.” God choose Abraham’s son Isaac instead of Abraham’s son Ishmael. The Bible very well could say, “Isaac I loved, and Ishmael I hated.” Romans chapter 9 makes it abundantly clear that loving Jacob and hating Esau was entirely related to which of them God chose.

  • @ hughdiok- God rejected Esau (who was also called Edom), and did not choose him to be the father of His chosen people. Esau’s and his descendants, the Edomites, were in many ways blessed by God (Genesis 33:9; Genesis chapter 36). So, considering the context, God loving Jacob and hating Esau has nothing to do with the human emotions of love and hate. It has everything to do with God choosing one man and his descendants and rejecting another man and his descendants.

  • @ hughdiok- When studying the Bible, it is critically important to always study the context of a particular Bible verse or passage. In these instances, the Prophet Malachi and the Apostle Paul are using the name “Esau” to refer to the Edomites, who were the descendants of Esau. Isaac and Rebekah had two sons, Esau and Jacob. God chose Jacob (whom He later renamed Israel) to be the father of His chosen people, the Israelites.

  • @catherinepenix Try posting something you didn't just cut and paste from gotquestions(dot)org.

  • @hughdiok God only hates sin, not people. If people choose sin, they reject God. Therefore people need a savior, Jesus. Jesus came as a sacrifice for our sin so that we don't have to suffer the consequences of sin which is Hell.

  • @catherinepenix God doesn't hate people???? Food for thought Romans 9:11-13-- 11(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)

12It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. 13As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

  • misty i love your creative connection with God on how he uses ur worship to tell others that he is still alive the one and only begotten son jesus he uses us all to spread the same messages in many different talents and ways by his woumbs we area healed thank you for your music from god its amazing you are truly gifted and others will be blessed because of you your a blessing keep up the work great job band:)

  • God did not create evil. He created for us the option to choose him. He wanted us to have a choice. Evil is the opposite of God. So, if you do not choose God, you are choosing what is opposite of him. Darkness only exists b/c of the lack of Light. Evil only exists b/c of the lack of God.

  • @catherinepenix Seriously??????? God is love.....the opposite of love IS NOT evil or hate (yes!!! God hates)....It is Fear.............

  • does anyone know the chords for this song or maybe the piano notes? If you do please let me know

  • what is the name of this song? i looked it up on lime wire but its not there it plays some other song from misty edwards thats called break the chains

  • thank you for your sharing this video but also your heart!!

  • Faith in Christ, His eternal glory shines hope into us all.

  • God did not created evil, evil is the opposite of God, anything that is against God is evil, he lets us choose to accept him or to reject him

  • God did not create evil, he allows it. God wants us to make a decition to love him. Without evil there would be no choice for us, and no satisfaction for God, we would be robots. But we choose who we become and serve.

  • God didn't create evil, He created good. He also created free will and choice. When people choose God, they choose good because He is pure goodness. When people choose against God, they choose evil, hence evil is born through people.

  • God didn't create evil, He created good. He also created free will and choice. When people choose God, they choose good because He is pure goodness. When people choose against God, they choose evil, hence evil is born through people.

  • amazing song

  • Beautiful . I'm so glad God gave these people such great talent to spread his word through music! Halellujiah Thank you God!

  • 'Cause one day every knee will bow to and every tongue will confess that He is Lord and God and King.

  • How small are we, but He still remembered us and our need for salvation so that we could spend eternity with Him praising and glorifying Him. And to add to that, He gave us free will. He did not make us choose Him, but He allowed us to choose to turn away. But still one day all those who did turn away (which is every one) and did not accept His gift of salvation and choose to glorify Him with thier life, will bow down and reallize that they were wrong.

  • How great is our GOD! And how small we are! HE created the entire universe! He did not even put us in the center of the universe, but He still remembered us and, out of love for us and grace towards us, He sent His Son to die for us so that His glory may be shown.

  • How great is our GOD!

  • His blessing is so powerful in His music. Satan's music is catchy, but God's music is moving.

  • Misty know the heart of God, and knowns how to minister to hear of man

  • Thank you Jesus for your Grace and love . What an awsome God we have :)

  • Dog is good all the time

  • Fully loving her songs aye!

  • Without God on the earth...no light...no hope...no beauty...no peace...no miracles. Imagine how evil would rage on. Thankyou for all your comments! God's blessing to you all! hugs, Shirley

  • wow guys what a great discussion! Thank God for choices, how else could love exist? But remember God did not create us with even any knowledge of EITHER good or evil. We were created in His image. All man knew was Life Himself. Knowing about good and evil made us conscious of sin and practicing it leads to death. This nature of "good and evil" that is in us now separates us from God, yet through Jesus we also have the Godly nature of Life inside us.

  • I agree more with skarletsky, God made a bride that would be able to choose him, otherwise what would the point of love be. He loves us regardless of whether we love Him back. God created us with choice in mind which leaves the possibility of "evil" open as an option. God may not want to murder us, on the contrary he volunteered himself as a sacrafice for us. If we r made in his image then he too can make decisions, only God only has himself as a standard. We look to him for ours.

  • Geile Music für Jesus

  • Just beautiful.Awesome Thank you Jesus

  • Awesome!

  • I feel as if i have turned from God. I need to read the bible. I have gotten so caught up in the world today praising idols. I repent God.

  • @ninabobina11 we all have done this some time....but, remeber His GRACE is sufficient for us, coz in our weakness HIS STRENGTH is made PERFECT....so He loves when we acknowledge our frailty and weakness, then He sends the army to fight for us...LOVE YOU...in Jesus...see you in Heaven. Remember...strength!! for you belong to the Lord! bought with a price...

  • Thank you. You have made me feel better. I will see you in heaven!

  • ...everything that is GOOD

  • Evil came because Lucifer rebelled against God..but at the beginning..there's no evil..everything God created are all GOOD.....yes we have free will..but God doesnt want us to choose eternal damnation that is why He is always reminding us about His love for us...

  • God created everything!!!

  • @

SweetlyBrokenOne you should read the scriptures brother:)

  • I believe God created evil as a test of our free will. He wanted to see what we would choose, and we of course chose to go against God. I think the test of our free will was to see if we would love Him by choice, for God didn't want robotic, false love, He wanted us to come to Him by choice.

  • that is neither scriptural or true about the character of God. I would advise you to examine your beliefs in the light of scripture.

  • God didn't create evil, if He had created evil that would mean that He would have had some evil in Him which is NOT true...evil came through satan who once being an angel that served God became prideful

  • @kebbie333 i disagree. If u say god did not create evil then u limit him, and by placing limitations on his power, he falls short of perfection, and therefore can not be god. I prefer to believe that god is perfect, and by perfect i understand whole, and thus he allowed the creation of evil to be a possibility. Evil must exist, and must be a creation of the creator, for the creator toi be found through christ.

  • God didn't create evil.. evil is the absence of God.

  • God didn't create evil skarletsky...in the bible It repeatedly says that God is holy holy holy and that God is a pure God....If God is holy that means evil CANNOT dwell in Him...there is no possibilty of evil being in Him or he wouldn't be perfect

  • yup. God is pure!

    Here is a little metaphor:

Darkness is the lack of Light

Coldness is the lack of Heat

Evil is the lack of GOD.

  • @skarletsky If you read the Bible it will tell you the characteristics iof God. He is not evil, therefore He did not create it. He is good perfect and truth. Satan was evil and therefore removed from his position in Heaven

  • The absence of hot is cold. The absence of love is hate. The absence of God, the rebellion against what he is and stands for, results in what happened to Satan. And since he's so good and just and merciful.... He gives us freewill, choice, to choose between Him (love, goodness, justice) and Satan (hate, badness, anarchy).... I used to believe Satans lie that if I followed my carnal nature, and ignored Gods laws, I was free. Satans way only brought me into bondage. Jesus set me free!

  • (evil arose from his pride) so much so that he wanted to make a throne for himself above God and God threw him and the angels which the angels that decided to follow the devil out of heaven and then the devil tricked adam and eve, they sinned thus the cycle continued...and now the cycle has been broken through Christ Jesus for whomsoever that chooses Him :D ...the scripture that backs up what I said about the Devil is found in Isaiah 14:12-15

  • People arent born as homosexuals. People are tempted by satan to become that. It is their decision to become that. God can protect us from becoming that though if we let Him protect us. Im honestly not sure why God created evil. Sometimes we dont understand everything about God. Sometimes we just have to believe in Him. Just focus on loving Him and believing in Him. His love is a treasure that cannot be destroyed by human hands nor can it be destroyed by spiritual forces. He loves us.

  • the issue of homosexuality is a little more complicated than that. it deals with a lot of family issues and growing up. i would recommend that you understand the issue a little more and not make blanket statements because that will limit the people you reach out to, especially those who call themselves homosexuals.

  • @ohyeainyoface Remember that the way we see sin and the way the Father understands sin is far far apart...He hates sin because it removes us from him...It is not the act it is the choice we make to remove ourselves from his perfect love...sin is not just an act it is the willfulness and selfish removing ourselves from his love...

  • @mrbdguard wow..incredibly true and toe stepping on-ish! needed to see this..thanks

  • @ohyeainyoface God did not create evil... he gave us free will.. and the Holy spirit to guide us, sometimes it is easier to listen to the negative loud voice and follow it when we are so centered in our own problems we cannot hear GOD's voice, but we are the ones that make the decision to love and keep going or to to hate and do the bad... ,

  • @ohyeainyoface I know a lot of people think that but no one actually wakes up and chooses to be a homosexual. It's not a "choice" in that sense it's just an identity development just as heterosexuality is an identity development. But the "choice" comes when we decide what to DO with that identity, whether to take on the identity of Christ or to believe in our own identity; and that is true for gay OR straight people.

  • @ohyeainyoface god did not create evil ...the word says all he made was good ...satan was once good ..he rebelled and corrupted everything that was good.

  • God didn't create evil, He created good. He also created free will and choice for all. When people choose God, they choose good because He is pure goodness. When people choose against God, they choose evil, hence evil is born through people.

  • @ohyeainyoface I'm sorry, I just don't see God being that petty by caring about one man loving another. People are like that. Not God.

  • @ohyeainyoface

Umm God didn't create evil hun. As my pastor told us tonight "bad things happen because people "chose" do bad things. In the Bible is says that "every good and perfect thing comes from God." If that is true than God couldn't have created evil. I can tell you who did though. Humanity and Satan did.

I don't pretend to understand all of God's ways for if I did there would be no need for faith now would there? For as believers (Christians) we walk by faith and not by sight.

  • @ohyeainyoface I agree with your statement that people are not born gay, but they are tempted by the temptor which is satan. God did not create evil however, He created free will. It was satan that wanted to take God throne, in which he was casted down to earth, and because he knows his fate, he plans to bring as many humans down with him as possible. However death was defeated on the cross for all who accepts Christ and turn from their wicked ways

  • @ohyeainyoface Actually.. Although I am Christian I don't think being a homosexual is a bad thing. People might or might not be born to be homosexuals, but there is scientific evidence that some people are born with a higher tendency to be homosexual. Also, there are many homosexuals that are Christian as well as churches that welcome homosexuals.

  • @SmileB4uDie

Huni, the bible says in many places that it is a bad thing. if we call ourselves followers of Yeshua(jesus/god) we need to follow what the bible says, babe. just being honest with ya

  • @SmileB4uDie Actually science has never proven that anyone has a propensity for homosexuality.God gives us all free will, read Romans 1:21-32 and you'll see that God allows us to follow the desires of our heart even when it is in direct opposition to his will.scripture clearly tells us that homosexuality is an abomination to God,as Christians we should seek to warm them of there imminent damnation if they don't repent. You can not be saved and still be in willfull sin.

  • @booniesman88 I know the Bible says that being a homosexual is a bad thing, but it also says we should not judge. I think that we should treat homosexuals the same as we treat everyone. It is God's choice and decision to judge them when it is their time. We should not look at them any differently. It is not our job to hate and condemn homosexuals like some people do. Even though in my opinion I don't think being homosexual is a bad thing at all.

  • @SmileB4uDie God is THE judge this is true but as a Christian it is our duty to tell people that the life they are leading will lead them to everlasting destruction, Jesus said that he did not come to save the righteous but to save the lost. I would never tell someone that they are going to hell, but i would tell someone that if they dont repent and seek salvation the judgment that awaits is everlasting destruction.I would also warn you not to supplant your opinion over that of Gods

  • @booniesman88 Doesn't that mean they're going to hell???

  • @hughdiock No, I am not condemning them to hell, that is something only God can do. I also don't know the future or the choices that you may or may not make, therefore it would be wrong to say your going to hell because you may in the future repent. I can however point out to you that the sinful acts you are committing will LEAD to destruction if you do not repent, much as you would tell a child that playing in a fire may get them burned.

  • @SmileB4uDie cont- as this is rebellion to the word of God, we are called out of this world and out of the flesh that is corruptible. There are nice people all over the world but "none are good no not one" The devil would have the world believe that God made homosexual this way and that God will except them into heaven but scriture tells us differently.

  • @booniesman88 How is there freedom, when if you choose differently you are condemned. I am not saying to not tell the people. I am saying to just inform them of what might or might not happen. That is all we can do. We cannot force them not to be what they want to be.

  • @SmileB4uDie I never said you could force anyone to be anything. You have to understand the absolute righteousness of God, nothing sinful or abhorrent can enter into his Kingdom, if you know this and choose the sin over God then you have also chosen the consequences. I i told you that under two plates were each a prize, under the left is a million dollars and under the right a deadly snake that will bite you and you still choose the right plate then you have chosen by default to get bitten.

  • @booniesman88 The only thing we can do is inform them. We should not look down to them or force them to be something they are not.

  • @booniesman88 .......This is like saying "free-will exists".....nonsense...

  • @hughdiock freewill does exist, to us and the angels. Unless of course your a Calvinist.

  • @booniesman88 ---Chapter and verse please!!

  • @hughdiock Joshua 24:14,15, Deuteronomy 30:11, Deuteronomy 30:15, Matthew 11:28, John 14:15, John 15:7, Romans 2:10, 1 Corinthians 9:24, 1 Timothy 6:12, 2 Timothy 2:21, 1 John 5:1. you'll see that we have choices to make.

  • @booniesman88 Joshua24----God's Law...not free will....choice does not reflect free will...We choose what we choose.....Deuteronomy.......commanded?...Matthew11......?....give you rest??? free will???......If you love me???? If we were predestined???.......John 15:7....And my words abide in you????....free will??......Romans 2:10...To the Jew first????......Are you a Jew???......free will??...Corintians....run the race??...free will???....1 Timothy.....whereunto thou art also called????.....

  • @hughdiock wow, i didn't realize that you could have a choice and that the decision wasn't yours to make freely. Joshua- "CHOOSE you this day whom ye will serve"choice, Deuteronomy should have been 30:11-18-"But IF thine heart turn away"choice, Matthew-"Come unto me, ALL ye that labour and are heavy laden" no predestination, John-"IF ye abide in me" "IF ye love me"choice, Romans- "to every man that worketh good" choice, Corinthians-"So run, that ye may obtain" choice, always a choice

  • @booniesman88 Choice and "free will" are two completely different concepts.......You can have a choice without "free will"...Your references are FAR too vague.....Let me put this to rest.....Ephesians 1:4-heck.....Ephesians 1 completely.....But here's just an excerpt...

  • @booniesman88----Ephesians1:4,5 4According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 9--

9Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:--

  • @ohyeainyoface

Yhwh(god) created evil because he wanted us to choose to love him. not be forced to. And yea, your right, we're never born that way, it's in our sinful nature. however I don't go condemning people, but yea we should be against IT, not the people. For instance, i in all honestly find myself attracted to woman. now i'm a married woman myself, to a man, but i try my best not to entertain those thoughts. my sinful nature feels it, but it's not something i can play on.

  • @ohyeainyoface great comment. just one correction though, God did not creat evil, evil is the rebellion of Gods Creation, the Angels that rebelled, and mans rebellion by sinning.

  • @booniesman88 Really????? God doesn't create evil?????

Where does the Scripture say that???? This is what I read......Isaiah 45:7--I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, AND CREATE EVIL: I the Lord do all these things.

If God is sovereign......How can he not create Evil???

  • @hughdiock "Where does the Scripture say that????" James 1:13

The word "ra" translated evil means bad, affliction, adversity, calamity.God did not creat Darkness as everything was in darkness when he bagan yet this scripture says he did so if you look at as a message using opposites you can get abetter understanding. I formed the and by doing so made a way for darkness in its abscence, I make peace and when my hand is taken away adversity and affliction ensue. Hope this helps. God Bless

  • @booniesman88 Are you re-writing the Scripture??? Are you somehow saying "This is what God really meant"??

  • @hughdiock No, if you spend a few years acquiring commentaries on the scriptures and studying the Jewish faith for a stronger understanding of the word you would see that my explanation is correct. I restated the scripture in the way I did to demonstrate the context.

  • @booniesman88 Chapter and verse for you basis in believing in "free will".....any verse will work for arguments sake......And what does my knowledge of Judaism have to do with Christianity.....Should I be a Pharisee? Would that make me more righteous??

  • @hughdiock I pray you don't become a Pharisee. To understand why we believe what we believe, why some Jews accepted while others rejected Jesus, why passages are written the way they are, we must understand the history, traditions, and teachings that Jesus was raised in. It gives us a richer, clearer understanding.

  • @booniesman88 2 Timothy.......purge himself from these????....free will????....1 John....He who loves God is begotten by Him?????......free will????.......

Booniesman....It would be absurd for me to argue we have choices.....We make choices everyday...Choce doesn't denote free will....Take Esau again.....Still in the womb..(having done no good nor bad) God "hated".......where was the choice?

  • @hughdiock scripture reference for Esau please.

  • @booniesman88 And yes it is "ra" word 7451 in your Strongs......why did you leave out the "evil" in the def.? How can you say something exists without God creating it....The text in Isaiah is leaving no doubt to you.....God creates EVERYTHING...He is sovereign.....Does man's rebellion or Satan somehow transcend God's sovereignty to where we can create something without him?

  • @hughdiock No i did not leave out "evil" as it was already used in the scripture. If you check the word in your STRONGS you'll find that its used in the various other forms as well throughout scripture."Evil" the way we use it today usually refers to sin or a lack of morality or ethics, which is why so many people today misunderstand the scripture. I would urge you to read a few commentaries and on the verse both Christian and Jewish.

  • @booniesman88 Just so we don't get caught up in mincing words....this is from Strong's ......word 7451----bad or (as noun) evil (nat. or mor.) ---adversity, affliction, bad, calamity, + displease (-ure), distres, evil ([-favouredness], man, thing) + exceedingly, great grief (-vous), harm, heavy, hurt (-full), ill (favoured), + mark, mischief (-vous), misery, naught (-ty), noisome, + not please, sad (-ly), sore, sorrow, trouble, vex, wicked (-ly, -ness, one), worse (-est), wretchedness, wrong...

  • @hughdiock thank you, that should help anyone following along with us.

  • @booniesman88 And thank you for not taking this discussion personally......It is OBVIOUS you have a unique literateness of the Word.........Something that is rare in Christendom today........You are truely blessed in that.....I thank God for people like you......(no sarcasm).......what reference to Esau are you referring?

  • @hughdiock Thank you, I always appreciate a civil discussion on the Word of God, (which is not always available on youtube). We can alway agree to disagree on certain topics. I personally believe that when it comes to the Omnisceince of God: he knows every choice we will be faced with and every possible outcome of the choice we make. Remember in Genesis 22:12 God said "Now I know..." from which I conclude that Abraham had a choice to obey God or not. Freewill

  • @booniesman88 How should I take "evil"?

  • @hughdiock depends on the context of the verse and supporting scripture. In this case it is an opposite effect to what God made, light and darkness peace and evil.

  • @booniesman88 ......not to mention Jacob in the same context.......Where was his choice to do good that made God love him????.........Shall we take Jacob by his choices???? Don't think that would work in your model....

  • @hughdiock you lost me, too many subjects, too many different posts, when and where did Jacob come from? sorry answering different post on different channels gets confusing after a bit.

  • @booniesman88 verse 11---In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

  • @hughdiock simply talking about the fact that God had already worked out a way for our salvation through the sacrifice of his son, see Genesis 3, or any messianic prophesy.

  • @booniesman88 Already worked out a way to salvation??? Is that what predestination means?

  • @hughdiock generally predestination states that God has predetermined who will go to heaven and who wont, which i can't accept, since we are told to go into all the world an preach the gospel. Why did Jesus spend three years preaching and talking to anyone who would listen if it was already set in stone, just go to the ones that are listed and skipm the rest. I believe we all are given a choice to accept or reject God, reward or punishment.

  • @booniesman88 What??? Jacob was Isaac's son....

  • @hughdiock I know who Jacob is, what i don't know is why you brought him up and to what "context you are referring.

  • @booniesman88 do you not like the "predestined" part of that??? And my reference to Jacob was.......If it's our choices that define us......How do Jacob and Esau fit into that model?......What choices did Esau make? Better yet....what choices did Jacob make that made God love him and hate Esau.......Before they were born, having done no good nor bad....?? I wouldn't consider Jacob's choices to be very "reightous".........

  • @hughdiock Esau sold his birthright for a bowl of soup, and I dont recall anything about God choosing to hate or love one over the other in the story.

  • @booniesman88 still waiting for that "free will" reference.......

  • @hughdiock already answered, i do have other things to do besides answering you, if thats ok?

  • @ohyeainyoface Are you saying we're not born in sin?

  • @catfish4975 - you don't understand. A person who abortion minded didnt just wake up and decide to get an abortion. It was a longtime process, of everything that lead up to it. Lesbians also have sex and get pregnant too. Open your heart to LOVE, Jesus' LOVE, and love these abortion minded Men & Women. Pray for them. Pray that your Male or Female Friends, Moms, Sisters, Aunts, Dads, Brothers, Uncles, Cousins, Teachers, Employers or Coworkers seek God BEFORE making that decision. You too pray!

  • @catfish4975 Shut up.

  • @CrimsonSunFlower If god made everything for his glory, then wouldn't that mean that he made satan and homosexuality for his glory as well? If god creates something with a specific trait (i.e. a man who is a homosexual) how is it right that god also judges him for that? If that were the truth then god would be just as much of a sinner as the homosexual man, because he MADE the homosexual man, and he MADE satan, and he ALLOWS all of it to exist.

  • @catfish4975 You are right. He did create Satan for his glory. Satan was originally an angel in heaven. But, God is love. And there can only be love if there is a choice. You cannot make someone love you. An alternative to God must exist so there can be a choice to love God. That other alternative is the desire of our flesh. Satan's desire was to be above God. Our desire could be something else.
