She interprets the music using her body. Not many belly dancers that I've seen actually do that. Sadie is truely talented in general. If you guys know of any other belly dancers that are that good, do tell me, because I rather new to this.

isolating body movement is not the core of belly dancing by the way. Sadie is very good, very techical...not much artistic though. Arab dancer have both very good technique and artistic skills. If you have been watching these Russian or east-europe women who had invaded the Middle eastern scene then your comment makes much more sens. go around and make sure you know what this dance is about in order to just good from bad. sadie is good, and so are many more arab and are better than that.
technique can be "sterile", just acrobatics.. that s what i feel with sadie and the other all technique and crazy tricks focused American dancers.. no emotion, no ARab feel. they re mimicking arab movements, without the essence. they re doing "karaoke for dance", as a famous Lebanese dance teacher has recently put it on arab Tv.
personally i prefer Sadie, i dont think it is sterile and acrobatic, i see her very professional, and comparing to other belly dancers she makes you wanna move,.... seeing the russians and others is kind of boring, and its just like they are wavig their hands too much doing nothing much with body, showing just a bit of the art...
she sure is very professional! and yes she makes you want to dance in a way - me personally she makes me want to watch :) it is very interesting what she is doing with every muscle, no doubt!

Well who s an "expert"? I ve spent about 15 years going crazy over every bit of bellydance I could see and I often dance in Arab socialities or restaurants and am referred to as a great dancer by Mideasterners, friends or strangers. I personally do not perceive myself as such as I am pretty untrained and cannot do many moves "on command", but only when in the mood.
I love the classics, Mona al Said, Soheir Zaki, more contemporary Amani al Omor. Very recent: hashan15 channel, Eleanore&Mona.
well you are right in a way! I am a hobby dancer, only interested hobby dancers in Mideastern surroundings (Arab, Turkish, possibly also Greek to a certain extent) get a different feeling for the music and dance, and a taste in what is genuine "artful" dancing with emotion as opposed to technical perfection and disconnection of the culture it is embedded in.
but you are right, i m no pro at all!! haha training myself with youtube and some instructional dvds :)
@411BGFlint I agree - I would love to be able to move like Sadie, she is amazing but there is a passion in the music and that also needs to be translated - someone less technical but more passionate is just as mesmerising. Having said that, I envy Sadie her way of being able to move like she does!
Arabian girls have the best bodies ever so belly dancing fits them perfectly
i'm not saying that other girls don't have a nice body
