I recently got ahold of this whole show. Tanya sings "Lay back In The Arms of Someone, Crossfire Of Desire, Blind Love, Somebody Must Have Loved you Right Last Night, and Tear Me Apart" and they are all LIVE. The quality is excellent. I don't know how to post vidoes on youtube so if someone knows how and wants to post them I can put them on DVD and send it to them.

Thank's for sharing, A great combination, Tanya and Chinn and Chapman, she was criticised (unfairly) for showing C+W girls like Wanda Jackson could rock and roll with the best of them and and bring in country converts, wish she had held out and done more like this. Any chance of re-posting in HQ, and anybody out there with "tear me apart" please post.

It is unfortunate that country music always treated her a little unfairly. She could put a little rock into her music or be a wonderful traditional country singer. IMHO most of today's country music sounds like the worse of 70's pop music.

I just read Tanya's book, and it was very interesting. She has had some rough times, but if you read the book, "Nickel Dreams", you will see that she is a very compassionate person, and I have a lot of respect for her.

I have quite a bit of video from this period that I taped on VHS and it's still pretty good. I was in the audience at this performance if it's from the Roxy in L.A. which I think it is. Her dad got me in to this private taping. Got some great photos later in the dressing room area. Aw, the memories!

Unfortunately, since I moved awhile back, it would take me awhile to find the photos, but one of these days if I have time to look! I do remember taking a photo of Tanya after the show with Jan Michael Vincent. Yeah, it was a great time in her career. I saw other great shows from the Roxy earlier when TNT first came out..just awesome! Tear Me Apart was fantastic too. Got some video of Miss Tanya on American Bandstand doing some of the songs too.

I remember the American Bandstand. A friend rang me to tell me she was on. I turned on the tv and she was getting ready to go into 'Tear Me Apart'. I think she did 'Lay Back..." as well. I'd love to have a copy of this!
