Freestyle is from the top of your head...not pre-written or used in any of your songs, sometimes you say the same shit because it just comes to you, but Sean Paul was singing one of his songs. Having said that after 1:27 he shouts out that its all freestyle, i think he was working the crowd, viewers at home and came out rippin it up...much respect for this mainstream artist, he gets hunnies dancing without using that dance mix shit. I think his music is good, and his voice is raw!

Freestyle can definitly be written. In the 80s rappers use to freestyle with pre-written lyrics. But then they also started to do this on ttop of their heads.

Freestyle means, your free of any style so the ''ong'' youre freestyling on doesnt have a specific subject.
