@palestinian4lyf The Lebanese christians are not arabs. Before the arabs came to the middle-east, it was all christian and we had our own language which is Aramaic. When the Arabs came, they converted most of the people, and those who stayed Christian were Arabized but were not Islamized. The Lebanese Christians are not Arabs. We have the Aramaic language as the language of our church, and even if we speak arabic every day, who cares? The Irish speak english, but they never say they're english!

I gotta admit that Lebanese girls are indeed very good looking but in the annotation you mentioned NATURALLY beautiful and I kinda disagree with you on this one because I'm 1/4 Lebanese (my grandmother is from Batroun) and I have family there and I know how big plastic surgery is in Lebanon, and the huge number of plastic surgeons considering how small Lebanon is. Lebanese are arabs, Arab is a race not an ethnicity. It's like saying Egyptians arnt Arabs, they speak Arabic ffs. @palestinian4lyf The Lebanese christians are not arabs. Before the arabs came to the middle-east, it was all christian and we had our own language which is Aramaic. When the Arabs came, they converted most of the people, and those who stayed Christian were Arabized but were not Islamized. The Lebanese Christians are not Arabs. We have the Aramaic language as the language of our church, and even if we speak arabic every day, who cares? The Irish speak english, but they never say they're english!

Therefore, you are automatically considered Arab like most Arab-speaking Muslims. The Christians of lebanon, however, have a strong pre-Arab heritage manifested in the ancient Aramean language and the Christian religion which was here long before Islam and Arabs came. You said it right! No one is ethnically pure! but there is a collective identity to which each belongs.

The issue however is when Christians who speak Arabic are also considered Arabs.
