I was the owner of this fan. I am Brian. This fan was new in the box at a garage sale. The lady I got it from had gotten it from Drug Mart but never opened it because she got another one as a present. Great Fan. Great Video Mitch. Take good care of her.
I am taking care of her, always will. This actually has as sister now, I got a trashed 1200DX for parts on my Lakewood 1200, but I couldn't use them. :)
Great fan, still kind of the design alot of us knew. The ones I well remember were the ones before the one Zachary DY4 has, the ones from the 70's and early 80's with the blue blades. This one and all those before it must probably be the only table fans with plastic grills that are any good while just about all other kinds with plastic grills, especially todays are garbage. Once again neat fan!
lol! dont worry. I'm not in a urgent need of one of these. they just look cool. :) I'm sure I'm sure i'll find one of these at the thrift shops in my area.

Nice air flow on this one. I wish I could remember what that fan was my Grandma had. It was beige with brown blades.

by judging the power my Lakewood 1645-DX pedestal (early 90's) has, i will totally guarantee you that your 1600DX is a wind machine!!

Well if the 1500A is anything to go by....you're right
