  • I would never trust a tailgate cable to hold that.

  • No problem, you can always remove the tailgate. But I will tell you that we've loaded two or three a day this way for the last 25 Years with no issues.

  • @granadajohn ; Yep, I've done that numerous times without damage to tailgates.

  • What's 2 + 2?

  • the best way is to just get a chain wrap it around the safe hook it to the bumper and drive as fast as u can and swing wildly on turns...........

o is this video serious????.......but then again i have seen ppl launch brand new fridges out a the back of there trucks because they didn't strap em down..... so i guess dumbass training videos are necessary....

  • You could always pay a professional to move it for you. This way you don't damage the safe, your vehicle, or any body partts. Check with your local locksmith for rates on safe moving and bolting the unit to the floor.

  • ...to move it into your house, use golf balls under the safe. You can move them in any direction, and you can 'recycle' them by moving them back to the front edge that you're moving.

  • MATE! That's a gem! Things you pick up on your travels? I will use this trick for sure. Thanks for that one.

The easiest way to immortality is through sharing your knowledge, The Dalai Lama.

  • @xxxlotus000

Gosh I wish I tried that before I installed my safe!

  • @xxxlotus000, I think that would leave tracks (scaring) on an oak floor, don't you think?

  • Don't Ram it , you could bend it!!!

  • OK, so this is completely off the subject, but did that truck have 7 lug wheels? Anywho, nice tip for those who were born with out a brain!

  • You have a keen eye, it looked like a f150 but that truck did have a 7 lug wheels, it was a rare ford 250 LT (light duty) only made for about 2 years. It had std, automatic air bags in the back and you could put 3000lbs in the back and it would level out in its own.

As for the "tin Man" he's good at it. But we know of many who have tried to put safes in pick-ups and have the damage to prove it, we may as well show them how to do it right.

    thanks

  • @joshforman83 has 8 lug nuts fords come with plastic covers and the angle makes it look like 7....

  • @karlebyrdjr You sir are in Idiot.......1997 has 7 lugs for sure and maybe a few other years.

  • Wow this is the most OBVIOUS video EVER!

I thought it was going to have a trick or tip for loading a safe in a pickup.

    Its just common sense!

I want my 48 seconds back! lol

  • Thnx for the demo, now i can steal my neighbors guns lol

  • I wanna see you get it out of the house first! Never thought about that, did ya? Huh d-bag? Yea its people like you that are going to get all of our guns banned someday.

  • What a great idea. I loaded my huge safe just like you showed in the video and the two of us slid it right in! Thanks for the demo!

  • True, it's not for everyone

  • easier said than done
