How did you learn the song? Through his instructional DVD or tabs or by ear?

And is that Fender Tele or Squier Tele? Either way, its a gorgeous guitar. I love the Fender sound so much hehe, got a Jaguar by the grace of God lol.

I saved up $300 for an amp over the course of a year and my mom got me a Fender Jag for $600 off Musiciansfriend. Been doing nothing this past two weeks but play it --> Seriously.

I love your tone tone in this piece. Very thick overdrive, but very dynamic at the same time. Is that a stacked humbucker in the bridge? What's your rig like, including pickups and amp/software?

The bridge pickup is a Di-Marzio chopper. as for recording, i plugged the guitar directly into a line6 ux1. But i am among those who believe that most of your tone is in the fingers.

Personally, I think tone is colored significantly by the fingers. I would say that amplifier/recording interface make up as much of an impact on tone than the fingers. Paul Gilbert through a Squier Starter Pack would still sound like Paul Gilbert, but not nearly as good as his stage rig.

By most of people, this song is supposed to be the easiest piece of PG to play because of its tempo and slow picking. But infact thats where everyone is wrong! Playing fast is not the point on this enstrument! I hate those who picks a thousand notes per second but cant give a perfect and correctly played note with emotion and such stuff.

So, this song is one of the hardest to play despite it does not seem so. And your cover is quiet cool man. Keep playing and covering Paul Gilbert songs!

thanks for your comment but i don't think this song is easy to play at all, it looks it is but it actually requires a lot of precision on left-hand vibrato, bends etc.. all the things that make a difference between a song played with the right notes and a song played with the right feel ;)

hi! well, as with any fast licks, i would suggest to start very slow and to gradually increase the speed (with a metronome). also, every time you increase the speed, make sure first that every note picked is clean and that there isn't any unwanted string noise, good luck!
