  • Finally Gonzo got to rock thtr trumpet!!

  • Apparently, Harry Belafonte actually helped a lot during the writing process for this episode. It is what made him one of the more memorable guest stars for The Muppet Show

And also? Heck yes Gonzo got to blow his horn in the end.

  • That last number is something I definitely appreciate more as an adult than I did as a kid. Very nice song.

  • You know what would have been really cool to see?

Harry Belafonte performing "Jump in the Line" with the muppets!

  • @RedaFox1 That is my FAVORITE song by Harry Belafonte. It would have been such a party!

  • Amazing - Belafonte's magic even works on Statler and Waldorf. Truly beautiful.

  • I can see why everyone kept singing the closing number...it's just so....spiritual!

  • Quite a different ending for the Muppet Show.

  • The footage of Zoot playing the one note on the sax at the very end is a splice. Originally, the episode had one of the African natives blowing the sax with the ITC logo superimposed.

  • Harry Belafonte was such an influential guest star that he was booked for Jim Henson's public memorial and he did this song as a tribute.

  • Why dont they make shows like this any more?

  • "Turn the World Around". such a beautiful tune. I have so much fun harmonizing around it. And I love that it promotes tolerance and interaction between different people and different cultures.

  • @shannon1234550 I agree. I also have fun harmonizing around it. I also sing it alot.

  • "So is Life", such a beautiful tune. I have so much fun harmonizing around it. And I love that it promotes tolerance and interaction between different people and different cultures.

  • Every time I hear this song, I try to think about what it's saying, and I think it's very interesting.

  • turn the world around.....epic and so true...

  • turn the world around....enough said

  • Gonzo finally got to successfully play his trumpet! That always caught my eye when I first saw this episode.

  • What a perfect ending, no heckling , no lame muppet tune just african chanting

  • @lawoma Apparently, the theme song is so cleverly hidden in this song that some people don't hear it at all... Listen to Gonzo's trumpet at the end...

  • LOVE IT!!!!!!

  • I love tht blindfold race.

Think if any of us did an olympic blindfold race

  • One of the best Muppet Shows ever!
