well there is also that on an even course (I swear in the game the Sonic guys must be wearing lead boots) the Sonic guys are alot stronger and faster. Hard for a fat plumber even with super powers to win a hundred meter dash against something that runs faster than the speed of sound.

yep, they need to make a real Platform cross-over for them. and not just a guess spot in a brawl game, preferably something produced by a third party company to keep things fair (like Konami or Namco), that and doing it that way would get it on more than just the Wii, hard to not be biased towards the Mario guys when its exclusive on their system for the cross-over.
