  • Hey, I have a question. Does the Steller's Sea Eagle go by any other name?

  • Thanks BBC, Hire me please !

  • amazing birds! awesome!

  • Wow oh my gosh, those beaks are amazing.

  • The eagles aren't looking for fish guts or food. I bird watch and watch Bald Eagles in New York and all along the Hudson on the ice flows during the winter they come down and simply enjoy sitting on pieces of ice as it floats down. The sensation of moving while not doing anything (being on a escalator track on an airport or in a car) is very enjoyable to eagles. They even fight over select pieces of ice. Hope this helps anyone to reason why so many eagles were on the ice flows in those numbers

  • @RecessionJobSearcher Or its cause they don't take to flying forever like all birds...and just want to rest somewhere. Not that they don't entertain it, but it seems to me that more of a practical reasoning.

  • i didnt even know that eagle existed lol :D

  • Oh shit, -15 -20? Try the Canadian prairies in December. -35

  • @Jusala12 whoopity crap. Seriously. Anyone in the north has experienced these temperatures. Siberia does have the record for the most often extremes though. It's not the temp it's the random and quick change that makes the difference.
