  • @MsTsarbomba Im sorry, but what exactly are you trying to say?

  • i love this so much :D

  • I have no issues with homoesexuality but i'm sorry when there are issues like the carbon tax, natural disasters, resource allocation and other important political topics that effect quality of life i couldnt give a fuck if you were allowed to be married or not. Gay marriage will not improve quality of life so its less then a side issue, no homosexual is dying young because they cant get married.

  • @ekoez1 they could be committing suicide because its little things like this that make us feel different and feel like shit

  • @ekoez1 I don't understand how legalising gay marriage will prevent these other issues from being looked at, besides it will most certainly improve quality of life for some people.

  • @OLOtheDemiGoddess gays wanted equal rights.....they got it......now they want gay marriage too!!! what next? child marriage? and taxpayer funded gender-change operations?

  • @tri400 they haven't got equal rights if they can't marry. Preventing gays from marrying is discriminatory and hurtful.

The rest of your suggestions are absurd.

  • @tri400 Sex changes have nothing to do with homosexuality.

  • @tri400 equal rights implies the right to marriage

  • Lol imagine an american being outraged cause he thought this was real

  • lol it must suck to be a coward like Penny Wong

  • chasers prob best aussie show ever, shame it can't go on forever, all good things must come to an end

  • You're right, south Aussies shouldn't breed (coming from a South aussie :P)

  • @MimiMemeko

Bring back old fassioned values. Only Penny Wong should not be allowed to get married.

Because two Wongs don't make a white.

  • HAHAHA As a Victorian living in South Australia, FRIGGIN WIN!!! :P

  • No more south australian's, that would get my vote

  • Penny Wong is awesome, and she should be given a promotion out of Climate Change. She can do anything.

  • @SmileFromBehind She can't write her name in the snow or put out a camp fire from a metre away. A man can.

  • Evil is soaking up this planet soon we will all be dead thanks to the union of our god in heaven having thei filthy gay shit rubbed in his face I do not and will never agree with gay people or marriage. Fucking.

PUMPING A SHIT HOLE IS JUST WRONG.

  • @teslaglobal - Listen buddy, straight men always ask their straight women partners for anal sex. Anal sex is not is not the exclusive preserve of gay men. I have not heard of gay women having a penchant for anal sex. This tends to make me think you're still a virgin. Whatever, you don't know anything about human intimacy.

    You're argument is buggered.

  • @teslaglobal

    cool story, bro

  • @teslaglobal Just as Jesus would have said it.

  • Today, beautiful Tasmania has passed amendments to recognise same-sex unions registered in other jurisdictions. from the abc online site:

"The Tasmanian Parliament has approved laws recognising same-sex marriages and civil unions registered in other states or countries.

Only three of the 25 Lower House MPs voted against the amendment to the Relationships Act "- all freakin mad Liberals.

    The move is on.

  • Loveya Penny Wong ♀♀

(in a non-sexual, very respectful way).

  • Kind of sad it's taking this long to just give equal marriage rights.

  • @Anoldtreeok

Labor were busy bring us equality in terns of Social Security, Super, anti-discrimaination legislation and Family law coverage, to go further would be far ahead of the australian electorate. You watch if Abbott gets in how he'll dismantle these progressive steps, and that infamous lesbian from Rooty Hill RSL will really have something to whinge about.

  • @ParArdua

Yeah, I know labor has given more rights and Abbott would do his best to dismantle them. It doesn't make it right that there is still no gay marriage though.

  • Sure, one day I hope, but we're a very conservative country, and I live in a particularly hate-filled conservative state (WA). People are listening and regurgitating the politics of hate sewn by the Libs, Christian fundamentalists and Fielding First here, I think the Lib seats in WA are 10/14 - it is rough. Only a minority work 'in the mines', but they run the direction of all policies, we are the warning to Aust what happens under a conservative govt.

Good luck in your life Woody.

  • I live the horror of a mining at all costs economy. The effect of unrestrained mining is lower prices for finite commodities. Anyone with a modicum of understanding of suppply/demand economics know the dangers implicit in this.

In WA, mining has put house prices beyond the reach of a two wage household, including two doctors. It has caused massive homelessness and shortage of labour in skilled areas. The phrase two-speed economy does not even come close to describing this wet dream nightmare.

  • @ParArdua try to have some modicum of intellegence before trying to make "informed"comments. I happen to have a degree in Economics, Finance and Business, and this 'massive homelessness' in Western Australia alluded (delluded) to is simply non-existant. In fact, whilst the cost of living has risen somewhat, this has been offset more than sufficiently by significant rises in real rages, falling prices in some commodity markets, and low interest rate. WA has the highest per head income, too.

  • This ad makes me even more appreciative and proud of Senator Wong. That she can put her personal views aside to assist her side to get re-elected is very noble. These days, everything is about the pursuit of personal goals at all costs. I don't know if she's up for re-election this time, but I wish her continued success, and I hope for us all a Senate free of the hysterical and hypocritical incumbrance of Fielding First.

  • Is this just a joke? cause that's quite offensive ily penny wong

  • @Chanelrox101 its just a joke dw

its because she had to announce that Labour Party does not support gay marriage. It's ironic because she is gay. So they are saying asians cant marry...so its a joke lol

    :D

  • @Chanelrox101

Satire, yes. I still feel for Wong though. (If I can say that).

  • @Chanelrox101

By going so far over the top, ie Chinaman/ Chinawoman and South Australian man/ woman, it draws the attention of the viewer to how ridiculous the proposition is of taking the letter of the 'Act' so far. Also in the description box, there is a hint, "comic relief". Clearly for some it was far too subtle, for others like me, it was not subtle enough.

  • What is Penny Wong's view on a gay man marrying an asian woman?

  • @Bower LOL

  • how was this uploaded on the 10th of august ... when the show aired on the 11th

  • @Quarker99 because its the abc.

  • @Quarker99

It was a preview. ABC produced and own the footage. On this site, we get to see the best of YWC before it goes to air, very cool.

  • Penny Wong is a gem

all the crap she has to put up with from all sides

and still managedsto turn up for question time.

Give her peace, she doesn't decide action on gay marriage, she has the whole world on her shoulders, quite literally.

Read her maiden speech, it's just brilliant. She does believe in equal rights for all, and like any cabinet minister, she is constrained by the rules of her party.

  • The Rudd government has achieved much in 3 years for gay individuals and gay couples: superannuation parity; full access to the Family Court; Centrelink parity; coverage by anti-discrimination act.

Politics is the art of compromise. NOTHING can be achieved for gay rights from the opposition benches. Just as Wong has compromised her personally held beliefs that the marriage act should apply to equally to all, we should realise that much has been achieved, and marriage is a longer term goal.

  • I agree that same sex couples should be able to access all benefits and rights as odd sex couples.

However, I believe if the Labor Party were to adopt 'gay marriage', they would NEVER be elected to Federal government. I look at the response that Gillard's own personal belief system has aroused.

Penny Wong OBVIOUSLY believes in human rights for everyone, that same sex couples should have acess to all the human rights enjoyed by odd sex couples, but she is putting her party first.

  • @tri400 I'd like to think you are taking the piss with your comment...perhaps being sarcastic, though if not; illegal according to whom? Bigots & religious fanatics who interpret the bible for their own agenda & governments who implement ridiculous & hypocritical OUTDATED rules under pressure from the same! The Catholic Church & Family First got that one fully covered!

LOL @ pgbrown's comment & 'tehnutjobbery' agree, though I get a little touchy at any mention of witch burning! ;)

  • BRILLIANT!!! ;)

  • @tri400 If something is done a certain way once, it should ALWAYS be done that way. I agree, let's bring back witch burning!

  • @tehnutjobbery Tri400 is such a troll, 2 chasers video's hes got a lot of responses, and finely fits the troll discription

  • wow haven't seen chris taylor in a while, that was gold :P (yes yes, I heard andrew too)

  • @tri400 Strip club in the Taj Mahal?...now there's an idea! That would definitely get the crowds in!

  • @tri400 Oh I agree! Also women shouldn't be allowed to vote. Have you got an awesome analogy for that one?

  • @Qualiaemily 4000 years ago, there were almost no federal elections....

  • @Qualiaemily Didn't you mean speak? That's when all the trouble started. What happened to the proverb "women should be obscene and not heard"? I was shocked that Brokeback Mountain was not banned. Appalling to say the least ... it's "Broken Back", not "Brokeback". People have posted here a dislike of faggets. Such people should be whipped. It's "faggots". Such perverted & distasteful things people do behind closed doors ... misspelling should not go unpunished. Inversion therapy might work.

  • Haha.

  • oh snap... wait.. I'm from South Australia..
