the tapping is pretty well-done, but you should do it a bit faster. acctually it doesnt matter if you get the triplets not perfectly accurate, it sounds badass anyway!!
that's great for how old you are (were). My tabs say to hit each section 6 times, while you were doing it with four, am I mistaken or.. were you just little :P
well forst off tapping like that wont work on the acoustic, and you cant reach the right frets, you need alot of gain to get the vibe oyu want from the solo, so overall i wouldent attempt it on a acoustic, but on the acoustic you should do great with the intro! -m1
well, i have a cort, i wont it free in a raffle,it sounds pretty decent, but there is much better, you can never go wrong with fender, but for a decent on thats easy on your wallet, a cort is just fine, good luck!
@m1garand77 you can do it on a semi-acoustic using an amp but its just very hard trying to reach the lower frets like you said, and its harder to get the sounds required
Actually at the part at 1:57 and on, you're supposed to tap the 17th fret in between the pulloffs. I know you probably don't agree with me, but listen very closely, you can hear the e flat as he does the pull offs. It's tricky. That part and the part at 2:40 are toughest. But not to burst your bubble that part your playing wrong too. BUt hey, you learned this entire solo almost correctly by ear from what I can tell--and I'm impressed anyways. Good video. Can't wait to see you hit it big.
yea dude ur young and pretty damn good at guitar.....look at how good kirk is now and he didnt start playing til he was fifteen.....imagine how good u will be by the time ur his age
even yho umessed up a bit i yhink u may be a great guitarist some day cas u are young now like to see ya wen ur 20 o yea how long have u been playin guitar 4?
well this video is reall old, im alot better now, in this vid i had been playing for a little less than a year, and now ive been playing for almost 2 years now
gr8 lesson m8, good job, plus i love ur guitar, want 2 get me one of those, strangely enough i currently have tht exact same squire strat atm u got in the background lol =D wierd shit, neway thx m8 =)
I have the same guitar as u but i pwn u lol, but ur still pretty good, that was my comment, to rephrase, I can play this solo better than u, but u r a good guitarist, that's all i said, and u ppl flipped on me, seriously, he's a descent guitarist, but he coul.d have practised more before posting this vid, and I wanna c a new vid of u guys, because I wanna c u do good, if u can show me a vid of him palying a good solo then I will respect you, don't respond if u dont have a good solo.
im in the same band as him and let me tell u he is flippen sweet he has gotten so better its not even funny. we know professionals like alice cooper, brian johnson(singer for acdc) and cheap trick and they think he is awesome so shut up. dont believe me watch are other vids
dude, i've seen alot of his vids, he's not awesome, he's good, jesus, I am not saying he sucks, I am just saying he could get a bit mroe practice and he'd b awesome
ill admit there is one part of the solo i dont have, but the part i thing you thiny im missing is a second followup solo, not part of the whole solo, this is the main solo, nuthin bad were cool
srry i accidentaly deleted the comment on what guitar is that, and its a jackson king v
its about $600 all together and i spent an extra $100 for a hard case thate is shaped like it to fit in on the inside, and if you found a strat for $199 its not a strat its probably a cheapo squier remake one, i wouldent recemend it if you are starting and want to get good at guitar, and i wouldent really reccoment the v for beginners either
it doesnt sound like it to me the taping solo goes way faster than that and it just doesnt sound like it go lisen to tha music video and play this along with it see if they sound tha same
