  • thids is a son of kirk hemmet xD

  • what guitar is this?

  • the tapping is pretty well-done, but you should do it a bit faster. acctually it doesnt matter if you get the triplets not perfectly accurate, it sounds badass anyway!!

but well made lesson, easy to understand!

  • you missed a whole chunk out, theres more than that

  • Added to my favourites ;-)!

  • good lesson, i can now play about 1/4 of this solo almost full speed and i have been playing it for one hour

  • Nice guitar keep up the good work

  • Yeah, i agree... Gibsonis the real flyin' v!

    Btw good lesson...2/5

  • KING V

  • Just to let you know you skipped a whole lot but other than that really good

  • that's great for how old you are (were). My tabs say to hit each section 6 times, while you were doing it with four, am I mistaken or.. were you just little :P

  • you make it look easy. enjoyed

  • Actually you gonna tap the 15th fret after tapped the 19th fret.

  • FLYIN V!

  • gibson is the original flying!!! not jackson

  • nice man nice. I am a guitarist my self. great work

  • great dude im learning acustic geting my electric soon wanna play this solo so bad lol

  • well, good luck!

  • what if you you are trying to learn on an acustic and you cant reach the 15 string or higher

  • well forst off tapping like that wont work on the acoustic, and you cant reach the right frets, you need alot of gain to get the vibe oyu want from the solo, so overall i wouldent attempt it on a acoustic, but on the acoustic you should do great with the intro! -m1

  • thanx im goin to try and get an acoustic do you know any good brands ??

  • well, i have a cort, i wont it free in a raffle,it sounds pretty decent, but there is much better, you can never go wrong with fender, but for a decent on thats easy on your wallet, a cort is just fine, good luck!

  • @dizzom3399 get a taylor if you have the money they are probly the best going

  • @dizzom3399 I have an acoustic electric ovation brand.

  • @m1garand77 you can do it on a semi-acoustic using an amp but its just very hard trying to reach the lower frets like you said, and its harder to get the sounds required

  • @dizzom3399 i tried it on an acoustic guitar, its impossible...(not impossible but really hard)

  • nice Rhoads guitar man

  • umm u missed a part of the solo

    at 4:40 theres another part

  • Actually at the part at 1:57 and on, you're supposed to tap the 17th fret in between the pulloffs. I know you probably don't agree with me, but listen very closely, you can hear the e flat as he does the pull offs. It's tricky. That part and the part at 2:40 are toughest. But not to burst your bubble that part your playing wrong too. BUt hey, you learned this entire solo almost correctly by ear from what I can tell--and I'm impressed anyways. Good video. Can't wait to see you hit it big.

  • its right, i play the solo like that its sounds much better and and pro....

  • yeah grace note on the 17th on the B string

  • your pretty good it helped me

  • Holy Crap!!! Your good!!!!

  • yea dude ur young and pretty damn good at guitar.....look at how good kirk is now and he didnt start playing til he was fifteen.....imagine how good u will be by the time ur his age

  • even yho umessed up a bit i yhink u may be a great guitarist some day cas u are young now like to see ya wen ur 20 o yea how long have u been playin guitar 4?

  • well this video is reall old, im alot better now, in this vid i had been playing for a little less than a year, and now ive been playing for almost 2 years now

  • dude if ur gonna make a video practice alot so u dont make so many mistakes and warm up quite a bit

  • what guitar is that a jackson js or what?

  • jackson king v

  • it looks alot like the randy rhoads one except the top fin on it is shorter..........jackson and esp have the best metal guitars

  • its wrong on some parts but good job

  • haha your gunna take the finger on the 19th fret and move it up to the 12th

  • u fucked up a lot of times man but u play ok

  • its not hard after you get it down

  • ur reli good

  • actually instead of bending the 19th fret 3 times its the 22th but other than that its really great!

  • ...22th fret?

    twenty-tooth fret?

22nd fret my freind, 22nd fret

  • u need to work on it u are good player but u missed a part of the solo

  • te sale como el ollo !!!!!!!!!

  • what?!?

  • as far as I know there is no such thing as a 24th note, I believe deaglenewman is referring to 32nd notes (which are twice as fast as 16ths)

  • thanks. good lesson

  • good job dude you just got to get your strum speed down a little faster though your playing 16th's its supposed to be 24th's still good though

  • ok thanks for correcting me, most of this solo is just figured out by me.

  • thanks man help me..

  • u need to work on it a little bit

  • im embarrest learning from a kid

    no offence

  • uh at the begining its 19 to 20 u said 19 to 12 just wanted to point that out

  • jimmyranaway has no rhythm

  • youre way better than jimmyranaway

  • you need more practice, nice guitar

  • yes dude, you're missing a huge part of the solo, but it's pretty good anyway.

  • lol your messing like 4 parts in the solo

learn it and then post a new video

  • ok sure

  • HEY EVERYONE GO LIIK AT JIMMYRANAWAY'S video haha XD if he claims hes so good

  • and btw, he is good at guitar, but he needs practise.

  • I have the same guitar as u but i pwn u lol, but ur still pretty good, that was my comment, to rephrase, I can play this solo better than u, but u r a good guitarist, that's all i said, and u ppl flipped on me, seriously, he's a descent guitarist, but he coul.d have practised more before posting this vid, and I wanna c a new vid of u guys, because I wanna c u do good, if u can show me a vid of him palying a good solo then I will respect you, don't respond if u dont have a good solo.

  • give us a little time to post a new vid all we need to do is find it cause its saved on the computer. so there.

  • I have the same guitar as u but i pwn u lol, but ur still pretty good

  • im in the same band as him and let me tell u he is flippen sweet he has gotten so better its not even funny. we know professionals like alice cooper, brian johnson(singer for acdc) and cheap trick and they think he is awesome so shut up. dont believe me watch are other vids

  • dude, i've seen alot of his vids, he's not awesome, he's good, jesus, I am not saying he sucks, I am just saying he could get a bit mroe practice and he'd b awesome

  • nice try but bad sound quality =/

  • growing talent.....watch this guy.......

  • dude learn to play cleaner. it sounded like the notes were right but play cleaner dude.

  • this is obsured but 3:04 he says g-string

  • is that a jackson rr1?

  • yeah, i have a jackson rr1 as well.

This solo sounded more like crazy train that one

  • sucked not the whole solo and some parts u did were not accurate 2/5 for the fact you got some of it down

  • ill admit there is one part of the solo i dont have, but the part i thing you thiny im missing is a second followup solo, not part of the whole solo, this is the main solo, nuthin bad were cool

  • is that jackson randy rhoads guitar or is that gibson flying v?

  • puta madre

  • srry i accidentaly deleted the comment on what guitar is that, and its a jackson king v

its about $600 all together and i spent an extra $100 for a hard case thate is shaped like it to fit in on the inside, and if you found a strat for $199 its not a strat its probably a cheapo squier remake one, i wouldent recemend it if you are starting and want to get good at guitar, and i wouldent really reccoment the v for beginners either

  • THANKS dude you helped me ALOT

  • thats wat the vids for, thanks to

  • umm this is sort of right i guess and its only half of the solo, but it still sounds pretty good. you should practice more and post another lesson
