little ghetto gangstas go back to east LA with your beloved Twopack.

you dont know Latin Jazz ....

  • Who cares where it originated, it could have been born in mars for all I care. The bottom line is, that this type of music simply is delicious. So let's just enjoy it and cut the pettiness.

  • @goyoatpb BRAVO FOR SMART PEOPLE BEYOND BARRIERS!!!

  • Who cares where it originated, it could have been born in mars for all I care. The bottom line is, that this type of music simply delicious. So let's just enjoy it and cut the pettiness.

  • I want a Puerto Rican woman!

  • @denzelsnipes69 Be careful what you wish for...seriously.

  • @akitadog01 LoL! What's wrong with Puerto Rican women? I've been involved with one before and they're cool. They're beautiful, fun, and they can cook....among other things;^) The total package, I say! Unfortunately, I live in Atlanta and there just aren't enough of them to go around. Most of the latinas we have down here are Mexican, and they don't usually dig the bruthas;^(

  • @denzelsnipes69 hahaha. that was funny. i live in atlanta too. I am Cuban thou. Get yourself a Cuban woman instead... Puerto Rican women are great but when i compare them to Cuban it's like when you compare Chrysler 300 and Bentley... look alike... but... they are not ;)

    Got it ?

  • @denzelsnipes69

Uhh? No comment Brutha... Lets just say, been there, done that, and even spent a life time there.. Though yer right about one thing... They can COOK... LOL

  • I m not latin, and yet I love latin music.

    Harry

  • Yes, but the development of the music would not be the same without puertorican composers and performers, they put so much to it, they change and develop this magical music.

  • I love Tito Puente...

  • El Magnífico Tito!!!

  • Those are bad ass steps their doing,Salsa is the best,

thanks for the info on ray vega -- he's GOOD!!

  • Wow!

  • Salsa all day...fuck reggaeton

  • @KahMan3 Reggaeton is some straight shit for real alongside with alot of this HipHop now which influenced the creation of Reggaeton! I am a Afro-American and I feel the passion of this music for real. The Musicianship is incredible. Reminds me of how our music USED TO BE.

  • @palmares77 i completely agree

  • @KahMan3 Amen to that.

  • @KahMan3 nigga this isnt salsa...fuck!!....everybody needs to read my research!!! im tired of this confusion

  • @KahMan3 this is manbo :D

  • @KahMan3 i love reggaeton but compared to this its like comparing gold (salsa/latin jazz as tito said) and aluminum foil (reggaeton)

  • @KahMan3 yo, darling. This ain't salsa.

  • my next ''mezcla de salsa'' sera con intro de este gran jefe de jefes'' TITO PUENTE'' stay tune ...check out my chanel ' for more salsa dura 'K VIVA LA SALSA'' DJIVANRUMBERO'

  • Tito was an ammo loader and bugler on the USS Santee CVE29 when my cousin was Commander Air Group 26 at the battle of Samar in WW2. My cousin made ace in a day there.

  • By "ace" you mean he downed 5 enemy planes? In one day?He was on a Lucky Strike. The chances of a pilot to finish his ammount of command missions was pretty low.

  • I'd KILL for this kind of music to be played regularly in salsa clubs.

  • Who's the trumpet player?

  • The Trumpet Player On The Video Is The Legendary Ray Vega...there are a number of his own videos posted on you tube,

  • SABOR

  • tito puente good song bro R.I.P

  • I wonder who taught the dancers the steps that are stictly old school PALLADIUM steps. Dancing on 2 is where it originated at the NY PALLADIUM. Anyone who remembers the good old days at the PALLADIUM, to the right of the bandstand,. where the best dancers stayed and danced Yes folks, this is where it all started, MACHITO,TITO PUENTE,TITO RODRIGUIZ,RAY BARRETO,WILLIE BOBO,PATATO VALDEZ, MONGO SANTAMARIA,JIMMY SABATER,

  • wow sounds like that would have been amazing to see and hear =p

  • salsa for ever papa

  • birdland mambo ,,, great,,,,,

  • Perfeccionamos.

  • very lively man

  • i love that baritone solo too, i whish that guy had more stuff to listen too

  • Looooooove Tito!

But I came here to see the footwork...

  • One of the all time world's greatest musicians...I think. The man could play any instrument.

  • I love the baritone sax solo in this song!

  • This is Puerto Rican stile music,NY sound all the way ,viva puente!

  • how can you say viva puente when he died in 2000?

ugh... anyway this video really helped me with my music project. studying the life of Tito puente... cool dude... interesing life.

  • because you have to help his music live on...

  • Tito rocked my world...long live his spirit.

  • mtyemti I guess you wanted to say "esta musica esta muy caliente = this music's so hot'.'I liked it very much = me gusto mucho'.

  • Smokin' Hot! Viva Tito!

  • the king of the timbals, tito puentes

  • Those guys are cutting up!

  • it is cool

  • Who were the dancers?...... IDJ ?

  • Yes Tito is real great - I love it.

    Musica cubana es fantastico.

  • Give me Tito or give me death!

  • UGH ME TOO!!

  • Tito amore

  • Oye chico.

  • salsa salio de new york

  • Puerto Rico has produced many outstanding players and composers BUT THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT WHAT WE CALL SALSA COULD NOT HAVE BEEN WITHOUT EL SON, EL GUAGUANCO, La Rumba, and ALL the Other great music from Cuba!! Let's not pretend otherwise. Yes, Puerto Rico great players, singers, etc., but the origins come from Cuba. AS TITO PUENTE SAID, I Don't play Salsa, I Play Latin Jazz.

  • @WildJ135 Yes but africans say cuban copied their music .I always say is evolution !!

  • @WildJ135 i know most latin music comes from afro cuban origin im puertorican and i mostly say that salsa comes from pr but its true its from cuba or technically a mix of african, anglo, and taino culture

  • The best percusionist from planet earth. I wish I could buy the tickets to see him in heaven.

    Que viva Titoooooo!

  • No, I'd give that to Buddy Rich. But Tito still is one of the best, no doubt about it.

  • fabuloso!!

  • Capoooooooo!! xP

  • The Mambo King, Tito Puente por siempre

  • TITO PUENTE FOREVER

  • The unique and fantastic rythm of Tito Puente.

  • great music but the video director is on crack... too many edits. changes cameras every 1 second.

  • I agree with you. (I saw Tito at the Stockholm Jazzfestival...many years ago.)

  • One word: Outstanding I've GOT to find some of his music in mp3 format!

  • The dancers are Eddie Torres. Frankie Martinez danced with Eddie Torres until he left to open his own studio

  • so I've been told (yes, it's the Eddie Torres dancers at work).

  • is that the eddie torres dancers? Definitely looks like his repetoire. actually the sequences look like the choreo Mon-Ti. I know i am a long time fan. so that is etched in my head LOL

  • This video features a solo by the great Pete Miranda on Baritone sax

  • A video to the live recording, crazy. Where is this from?
