  • Anybody have any vintage Tim Woods/Mr. Wrestling matches? Please upload!!

  • This is the only known clip of Mr Wrestling in action...very nice!

  • @opwatchdog There are a couple of others, including one match where Woods faced Mr. Wrestling II

  • @opwatchdog There are other clips on Youtube of Mr. Wrestling. Look up Mr Wrestling and Blackjack Mulligan.

  • Unbelievable to see this in 2012!

    So many thanks for posting.

    素晴らしい。

  • Amazing to see this. I was very young in North Carolina the first time I saw Mr. Wrestling, sometime around '69-'70.

  • how long did this match last?

  • Do you have anymore from that time 1973-76 Georgia Championship Wrestling. I think Jim Garvin was around that time to as a manager

  • sounds like indian war drums in the arena.

  • i think this was the orginal mr. wrestling tim woods. do you have any footage of tim woods feuding with buddy rogers big john studd and jimmy snuka. i think paul orndorff and tony atlas was helping woods at that time. woood was ummasked as mr wrestling. this took par in the mid-atlantic era. i am looking for this on dvd.

  • What a match! Not often I get to see the original Mr. Wrestling, and Bill Watts for that matter!

  • Awesome!! I was 8 years old and already a 3 year wrestling fan. One of my earliest memories {of anything at all} was my cousin and I watching Ox Baker on tv and yelling at him. I was either 5 or 6 at the time. I also remember very vividly the first time I ever heard Dusty Rhodes speak. He was a heel at the time and I was very young but even then I recognized the charisma he had.

  • Les Thatcher rules the world.

  • How the hell did you get recordings from 73?

  • @lastwolflord Truth be told, I have no clue about the origin of the source tape. I was digging through some old files I had downloaded years ago and stumbled across this. It would be great if there was more stuff from this era floating around, I'm guessing this aired years later as part of some "Mat Classics" retrospective or something like that.

  • Solie named a couple of great wrestling promoters in that clip...Paul Jones of Atlanta and Sam Muchnick of St Louis.

  • Do you possibly have any clips from around 1975 or '76 during the days when Thunderbolt Patterson was fueding with the Andersons????

  • @christlike06

    Nothing out there.

  • what!!!...did he say the GEORGIA!...Heavy wt championship? Baaa-hahaha,hes kiddin,right?

  • @Wayneman117 no

  • @Wayneman117 What's funny about that???
