  • I have Dermatagrahpism, where whenever my skin is scratched in any way it boubles up red and itches pretty bad. so i can practically write in myself with my finger nails and have it appear all read. i am practically a human chalk board. the red marks will stay for roughly 20 minutes before eventually fading.

  • I used to have Kawasaki disease

  • There is a genetic mutation that makes you naturally immune to AIDS. Can't remember it's name but in the 1990's there were about 10 cases known through out the world. Now that would be a mutant power I would like to have.

  • I have an unusual allergy. I'm allergic to alcohol and therefore I can't drink even a drop of it. I can use alcohol based disinfectants to clean wounds but I can't drink, eat or even smell anything that has alcohol in it. It's not deadly serious but it is way too painful so I just don't even try drinking. Bar nights come cheap. And because of my migraine my eyes are tender to light so I can't be outside in daylight without sunglasses. The migraine also made my ears sensitive to loud noises.

  • I have a disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS for short). It's a genetic mutation of the DNA that creates collagen which makes up a LARGE part of your body. The famous "Rubber man" is thought to have had this because of the elasticity in his skin.

For me... it has made me able to lick my elbow.. yes... i am one of the few who can lick their own elbow =)

  • I am the lone locust of the apocalypse.

  • I have Keratosis Pilaris or "chicken skin" on my arms. It's genetic but totally harmless and goes away with age. Basically, it just looks like goosebumps which lead to people thinking I was cold when I wasn't. I felt like sharing because the name sounds pretty cool!

  • @Teeheelalahe123 i have that too lol... its pretty common!

  • @Teeheelalahe123 i have the same thing on my upper arms. mine kind of look like a cross between pimples and goose bumps

  • my mom was struck by lightning and couldnt wear a watch for years after lol

  • Morgellons disease

  • My first Vlogbrotheer video.

  • JRA- juvenile rheumatoid arthritis- makes your joints hurt real bad

  • An interesting historical note is that slaves from Africa when being transported with Nutmeg would break into the crates and eat the Nutmeg for it's intoxicating and euphoric properties to ease their pain and depression of being stolen from their home and enslaved. A very sad but true story.

  • Dude Nutmeg or Myristica fragrans is not a weird disease it is an intoxicant, a medicine and a spice. It has a very long history of human usage and taken in the proper dose is a fairly enjoyable high, just don't take too much folks! BTW you need the whole, ungrounded, fresh Nutmeg for the full effect, not the pre-ground stuff. Grind the whole Nutmeg JUST before usage! An interesting historical note is that slaves from Africa when being transported with Nutmeg would break into the crates and...

  • What about pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconosis

    Its a lung disease.

  • I have the "I know Mark DeGenova" disease. It is a terrible sickness in which after spending time with said person, you become addicted to technology!

  • Eboyla, weirdest one for me, look it up :D

  • The blue man didn't have a silver-rich diet. He intentionally injected himself with colloidal silver to treat his dermatitis without going to the doctor. He also drank the substance and rubbed it into his skin on a regular basis. He was an idiot with a common skin condition (basically a glorified rash) who experimented on his own and turned his skin blue. Have I mentioned that colloidal silver isn't FDA approved, and is known to be unsafe. Not a weird disease, just stupidity.

  • Nutmeg can cause hallucination ? .... hmmmm .. I have to try this !

    I wasn't wrong!

  • Being struck by lightening is a disease?

  • @inneedofmedication "Complications DUE TO lightning strike." The disease is the result of the strike, not the other way around... -.-

  • @ImAshes Complications aren't a disease, their a result.

  • @ImAshes exactly. the complications ARE the disease. The result of being struck by lightning is a disease called "complications due to lightning strike" in the same way the result of inhaling rhinovirus is getting the common cold.

  • If I watch your video again I will fall asleep that's my disease

  • when I worked at a local food shop, we had a customer called the "nutmeg-man", who always came in 10 minutes before closing time and bought all of the nutmeg (ground, whole, you name it) from our spice shelves. He was quite awkward.

I'll bet electritions who install solar panels on roofs fall off roofs many times more than the average person! that is all

  • I didn't jogger's nipple was a disease..

  • Harlequin ichthyosis and progeria (Hutchinson-Gilford) syndrome are two pretty strange ones. Harlequin ichthyosis isn't for squeamish people, by the way; the baby pictures can be quite something (even more bizarre in person). Also, research gestational trophoblastic disease (also known as "molar pregnancy").

  • this guy should be the next Joker!!!!! ahahah

  • damn, who even got through this video?

  • Kallman syndrome. Look really young... Side effects: You can't go through puberty; you don't have errections; you will probably die young. Need help? Take testosterone and you will be fine. It's funny how easy it is to fight the syndrome (in most cases), yet how horrible you will suffer if you don't fight it. Oh, and plus, you can't have children... Well that sucks...

  • Ive got A Horrible Disease... Small Penis Syndrome. Side Affects... You want to kill yourself.

  • You forgot Kinky Hair Syndrome

  • I have a desease which causes me to randomly wake up at night, being unable to move in any way. On me it lasts 5-20 minutes but some poeple can't move for 5 hours. My Mother, my granddad and my grand-grand-dad had it, too. It has some fancy latin name, but i don't remember it right now...

  • @suppchoc sleep paralisis i dont think i spelt it right

  • I suffer from frenchthelamiaosis

  • maple-syrup-urine-disease?

  • The video keeps stopping randomly (grrr) and I am getting really awesome derps of Hank and John. Hehehe

  • Your video goes for exactly four minutes. I am proud of you, Hank.

  • @sbcflirter 1 Second is non-existant.

  • I suffer from a lovely affliction called Guillain-barré syndrome. Quite the rare and terrifying physical condition that can hit anyone, anywhere, at any time. Not many things are worse than full body-paralysis, being unable to eat, drink, or use facilities on my own without a catheter. The human body. Isn't it amazing :D .

  • @TheEndOfIgnorance1 that really sucks i know what its like. its scary. is it a slow process? i know that it isnt sudden but how quickly does it progress?

  • @TheEndOfIgnorance1 if you have full body paralysis, how did you type this? >.>

  • @TheEndOfIgnorance1 Ew, i googled it :(

  • Goddamit, i live in the nutmeg state....my future awaits...

  • necrotising fasccitis...the flesh eating virus

  • If you have an obsessive urge to eat ice, get your blood iron levels checked. You are most likely anemic. I know this from experience.

  • @LostWendyandtheBoys i'm pretty sure every kid and every people in summer have obsessive urges to eat ice-cream and that's more related to : sweet-toothness (is that a word ?) and the cold and good time ice cream provides. But i get your point.

  • @Alkhoren No, not ice cream, an urge to eat ICE. This happened to me twice. I had started to take an iron supplement, but then stopped. When I again had an obsessive urge to stop at a gas station strictly to get a large cup of fountain ice, I knew I must be anemic again. Sure enough, a blood test confirmed it and when I started the iron supplement again, the craving went away. Weird, huh?

  • the 9th desease is just people who haven't got anything else to eat

  • @cootjans12 No, I've seen it. Some people just get these cravings to eat things that aren't food: dirt, coins, hair, glass, etc, even if there is actual food around. It's real.

  • @cootjans12 No it's not. I go to a camp for kids with disabilities. Pika is very common in people with mental disabilities. I watched a 11yr old girl with autism eat a plastic glove. Yes, she swallowed it. She also tried to eat the lining of her sleeping bag. Trust me, she had access to plenty of food.

  • Then what is it called when you smell like wet dog after running around?

My little sister suffers from that.

  • Cancer

  • The whole video I swear I couldn't help but to notice your yellow teeth.

  • its not a disease but i have balanced reciprocal translocation of the 15th and 21st chromosomes

  • My body actually applies to the laws of gravity I have POTS, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome.

  • And I was watching this with my cat. Great.

  • who's john?

  • @sasmadrid John is his brother. They share the account, and make videos towards eachother. Like... John'll do monday, then Hank'll do Wednesday, John'll do Friday, then Hank will do Monday. So just back and forth.

  • I think the Dancing Plague is weirder than some of these. It is a phycological disease that can be contracted from merely seeing another person with it. The people afflicted with dance until they black out or they die. Once, over 1000 people had the disease in a single place.

So if you have it, keep it to yourself. Don't go to your doctor, for the sake of humanity.

  • Jesus. Calm down

  • Comment removed

  • Y'think if we tied your hands together that you'd still be able to speak?

  • toxoplasmosis in humans is much more interesting considering it will live in the brain and do almost nothing.

  • ummm I think I might legit have OCD.... :P

  • how does anyone know if they're going to die if they go to sleep? Do these people ever live longer than a day? It's not like you can suddenly guess to stop sleeping because it might kill you now.

  • I wasn't planning on sleeping anyway...

  • i'm surprised you didn't mention synthesia. it's more of a chemical imbalance/disorder rather than a disease, but it's kinda cool. i have it but i didn't know until i learned what it was, i thought everyone was that way. it's where you see words/letters/numbers/etc in your head and identify them with colors or personalities.

  • @mermaidblushxo Synesthesia is neither a chemical imbalance nor a disease, not even a disorder! I actually have synesthesia (this is the correct spelling) and know that it is caused by neuron impulses straying over from one area of the brain to another, both areas dealing with a sense.

  • @madsquirellinc Wow really? I find synesthesia fascinating... what kind do you have if you don't mind sharing?

  • @Gothgoddess512 I'm a grapheme mostly, but I also have some basic forms of sound to color and visual spacial.

  • @madsquirellinc Hmmm does it make things difficult for you sometimes? Or is it like it doesn't bother you since you have always had it?

  • @Gothgoddess512 It's not bothersome at all! If anything it's sometimes really helpful. i believe I'm a better artist and writer because of it, and I certainly enjoy literature and music more than I would if I were normal. It also helps with remembering things; instead of remembering a sequence of numbers I remember a color scheme. I actually sort of pity people without, your world is so colorless! XD

  • @madsquirellinc Hmmmm that's really interesting! I have always wondered if I would like a world with more color better XD Thanks for the info!

  • I have hydrocephalus. Which basically just means I have a big head

  • 2:10 i have that. dont dis.

  • "just one more reason why I love TO SIT"

  • i think it might actually be kind of fun to have the blue skin disease.

  • My favorite condition of late has been toxic megacolon. Not because it's all that interesting - it's a severe form of ulcerative colitis where the colon becomes extremely dilated - but because it has an awesome name. TOXIC MEGACOLON!!!

  • I have Dermatographic urticaria. It's pretty awesome. You should look it up.

  • There is an aging disease where your life gose backwards like benjamin button no joke

  • Progaria. Enough said. aging disease

  • i have the 4th one it is true

  • my armpits might not smell like flowers but my shit does

  • Senioritis. Got this in my last semester of High School and almost couldn't graduate. Fuck!

  • Does lactose intolerence count?

  • ........................................... 8<

  • The most dangerous Disease is ( Religions )

  • @Hanovisa

Wow, I hate it when Atheists are overly devout. If we are going to talk about human actions that kill people, left-wing big government systems have done the most damage to human life, and human rights. But that's not what the video was about.

  • @vtc193 There is actually a point to be made that religion can be a form of mental disease. You don't have to be an atheist to see it or make the point. If you delve through history you will find that religion has been at the root of most of mankind's problems. Crusades, genocides, wars, overpopulation, forced castration, torture, inquisitions, environmental destruction, mental anguish, etc.

  • @simonxslade

The Crusades were political, not religious, genocides will (and have) happened despite religion. They are a human problem that cant be blamed on religious principles. Overpopulation is the result of economic, and sanitary conditions that necessitate more children. Statistically, religious individuals tend to be happier. The other things are human, not religious issues. The Soviets, and the Chinese had destroyed their environments, but they are atheist.

  • @vtc193 Religion is usually an excuse for war, while the actual reasons are usually political or economical. Also, terrorist attacks are most of the time religious of origin, no matter how you look at it.

  • @simonxslade that argument is a double edged sword as some of the most atrocious accounts of genocide have come from atheistic regimes. Stalin, Lenin, and Hitler are but a few examples. So using by using that argument you would also have to acknowledge atheism as a form of mental disease.

  • @simonxslade That argument also does not hold that much ground as many religions teach peace. While there a many people who go corrupt with religious power, this does not mean these religions teach violence. Simply it is men who have used their influence over the lesser population to skew the words of a religion so they can either justify their actions, or in the case of the crusades, attempt to re-take land for monetary purposes. A religion is not based on the actions of it's followers.

  • Wow

  • I am a lazy fat bastard, is that a disease or a lifestyle choice?

  • what about the bubonic plague also known as the black death. that was pretty weird

  • @loadedClownZ Wel.. how is it weird? lol

  • @PAINmedia your underarms and groin started bleeding and you died within days

  • @loadedClownZ

Actually there were three types. Bubonic was where is would attack the lymphatic system (hence the swollen lymph nods or 'bubos') Pnuemonic (yes my spelling is sh$) which would attack the lungs. And septis-something I'm too lazy to look up the word which was were the disease got into the blood and spread everywhere and killled all its victims.

  • That jogger's nipple picture was horrifying but then there was a picture of a cat on a toilet and the world was set right again.
