  • Hi, I really love this song and i am hoping to compose something based around the chords by the guitar and piano at the start of the original song, i was just wondering does anybody know what they are? I've searched and searched and tried myself but i just can't figure them out, if anybody knows them could you please post them on this song or to me. Thank you, great song

  • @Fieldsend28 After 1yr. Seems to be Dm C/D Bbmaj7 C Am7 Bbmaj7

  • Please can somebody tell me if it is possible to see Al Stewart by now live in any place???? PLEASE??? I´m a fan from Spain and he is my only idol!!!! I can travel.......

  • He is playing in austin, texas on thursday june 4th.

  • Fantastic version of this song that really shows the quality of the song writing - the original album version is spoilt a bit by the OTT orchestration - this stripped down version shows how good it is really.

  • You just tear up that guitar! It is very inspirational to a beginning ukuleleist. Or to anybody, in fact. I came here by virtue of the wonderful "Year of the Cat" you guys did with that amazing young pianist. Watching him settle in and respond to the song and to your guitar riffs was spectacularly moving.

It's really fun to see you burn up that fretboard. I hope someday to sound a little like that and less like I'm playing a tennis racquet.
