I think it speaks to the state of the republican party that the most rational clear thinking candidate was so shamelessly marginalized. Ron Paul has a well thought vision of what government's role should be. I don't agree with that vision but at least he has one. McCain's platform was Obama is evil. He has NO vision. NO plan.
