The music rocks! And their dancing as well! Sorry but Slavik is the best male dancer dancing competitions right now! Elena has something to do to meet Karina...but she'll get there!

RaunchyRumba, who are you then? Why are Slavik and Elena 2nd of the world profs? Maybe they arent 2nd ranked but third, but they won the last competition from Leunis. I must admit that i totally dislike the profs results, but they dont get 2nd for no reason.

They get 2nd because they are technically great to watch... but they don't have the capacity for expression that he had with Karina. They are fine fine dancers... but they are boring. There is no passion in their dancing.

Sorry for dubbelposting, but I like to add that I dont like their dancing really much either. But saying Slavik is nothing is something I dont ike. Sure they are good.

Of course they are amazing dancers, but they are boring and without passion, artisty and chemisty. They are raw and look over exposed - not in a Fellini type of way (La Dolce Vita) but in a Paris Hilton, never sincere, type of way. They are always working the audience and never eachother- its almost tiring to watch. It takes effort. Yet they are undeniably talented.

No, I think that they have deteriorated from earlier... but they have intricacies in their movement. They have movement within their stillness... They actually have moments of stillness...

Also I want to note that these are all show dances... in a show dance you are supposed to use the music... the music isn't used well at all... it doesn't add to the routine. The phrasing doesn't contribute to the dance at all. And when the music changes... nothing about the routine changes... they constantly move at the same intensity... no change. It is bothersome.

Actually, from what I see. ALL of the top latin dancers are more interested in their "routine", they just like to please the judge/crowd. imo, very very boring!
