Thanks. I may get Solidworks, though I have Autocad and barely use it. Primarily using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Mcam. Currently striving to get a Blacktoe cnc 4x8 kit. I got a Zenbot 12x16 now.
Why even bother with Solidworks? You can just import the image of a Strat body into Mastercam as an art image and manually spline it, turn it to solid, etc, and then toolpath it.
Excellent point. Many folks that may own Solidworks, Inventor or Pro E do not have MasterCam X. This video was answering a question for a Solidworks user. I love to have you answer this with a Video of your Idea.
