This video game looks FANTASTIC on my Sony HD Trinitron. It's glorious to see games running in Saturn's hi-res mode. Kudos to the skilled programmers for all their dedication and hard work.

And all this time I thought it was just me that the Saturn version of this game kicked the Playstation's patoot all over the place. Proof at last! Very similar to the much more recent games Assault Heroes for Xbox Live, I'm thinking the developers were either part of the team that made Mass Destruction back in the day or big fans of the game. Nice video!!

So, another game where the Saturn version was better than the Playstation. Why was that? Because the coder actually gave a damn and put some effort and brains behind it. If more coders had done that back then...

@MoonCrashed Well, there is Powerslave, Duke Nukem 3D, Grandia, Hexen, Thunderstrike 2 and most 2d stuff. But as we all know usually 3d multiplatform games were better on PS1. One of the reasons games like Mass Destruction and Grandia were better on Saturn was because they used the VDP2 to generate most of the terrain in the game instead of generating the whole of it with polygons, like PS1 had to do. If you got creative with the Saturn quirky hardware, it payed off...
