I saw em when they came through Boston, they had no gear on stage, everything was backstage, so idk if they have a large pedalboard backstage, but to the best of my knowledge its only a Boss noise gate

@fracarciofo Pedals are for chumps. Unless you need them for actual stuff like how The Edge or Brian Aubert does it, pedals flat out suck.

@CriticsConfession Why do you say that? For many people, using a nice OD in front of the amp to tighten up the drive channel is perfect. Me? I like a nice chorus for my clean sound, I like a wah for some of my band's riffs, and having a flanger on hand is always nice for certain things. Don't go bashing what people do just for the hell of it. Explain WHY they suck, maybe somebody might not hate you for what you say

Sorry if I didn't make that clear...well...actually...I didn't put that, so my apologies (I'm not being a sarcastic asshole, I mean this, haha). I just meant, really, Big Muff is the only Distortion Pedal that is even somewhat decent. It's all about the tubes, my friend.

I like the Muff for some things, my band's singer uses it instead of the dirty channel on his Orange Rocker 30 (which annoys me, considering that amp has an AMAZING gain structure). I personally prefer the lower gain sounds on my Peavey XXX (even for the metal we play) because it has a much warmer character, and it's easy for me to dial in exactly what I want. People are usually surprised by how heavy my sound is when they see how much gain I actually use
