  • großartig, die beste Version, die ich bisher von diesem Titel gehört habe!

  • I have found data which attributes the refraingesang to Theo Lucas - what do you think? He worked a lot with Formiggini at the Eldorado and this song is from that period.(1927) Leiter - Gabriel Formiggini Tp - Wilbur Curtz, Howard MacFarlane Pos - Kai Michelsen T SAx - Kurt Alt A Sax - Joe Alex, Wolf Gradis Kl - Georg Haentzschel Bjo - Mike Danzi Vib - Eduard Feige Schlz - Leon Collier Gesang - Theo Lucas
  • @jonjamg Hello! It`s one of Formiggini`s masterpieces.. but the singer sounds definitly like Max Kuttner! He started recording before the WWI as opera tenor! He has a really marked voice!

  • @makrogroove I went back and yes I have a source that says Lucas BUT - the same source gives 1968BB as Kuttner, the reverse side of Vox 8525 is "Lene Lehmann ging mal spazieren" attributed to Kuttner. The original source quoting Lucas et al is modern and probably not as reliable, yet both are used!! I am more than happy to accept Kuttner but wondered what anyone else thought to the idea of Lucas.

  • Herrlich, u. köstlich vorgeführt! *****
