I know this is 2 years old, but all the examples in the video by Colbert are jokes. To understand the jokes the audience of the Report need to understand the news.
If this was supposed to be a counter joke to Colbert's jokes then it failed to be funny. Signing a petition like this would demean the audience of this video.
