WOW!!! I so love this song. I used to listen to this song many years ago when both my parents were still around. I was kid and had this song on tape and would listen to it in bed knowing both MOM&DAD were in next room and alive and there for me. Now years later after losing the tape and not knowing the name of the song I searched high and low for this song and I found it thanks to the poster. Now years later and Mom&Dad are both gone it makes me cry but I think of the great times. THANK YOU!!!
590 VOCM - St. John's will play this song at least 6 times a day from the time they go All Christmas on the last Monday in November till December 27th each year.
O.MG. I have not heard this song in years..love it... i searched for this on all the music downloading sites ven YOUTUBE.....THANK YOU VERY, VERY MUCH..!!!!
I first heard this song in the mid 70's on AM radio. I always remembered it but had not heard it recently until today. It brings back alot of memories....some good....some not so good. It's really bittersweet. The orchestral arrangement gives this piece a timeless quality. Merry Christmas to anyone who listens to this song.

Back in the late 70's, CHFI radio in Toronto was the only station that would play this single by Larry Evoy. Although I spent Christmas alone in those days and for many years after, this song always made me feel that somehow, while the snow drifted down past the window of my darkened apartment, that everything would someday, be alright. Thanks for posting this rare Canadian classic and Merry Christmas
Wow! Thank you for sharing this song. This is one of the most interesting Christmas songs that I've ever heard. I perhaps heard it three times about forty years ago, and then nothing over all of these years. Until now. I've never forgotten it.
I always loved Edward Bear's music. I only just remembered that he had a Xmas tune too. Great song!

A very nice soulful Christmas tune. Loved it when it first came out long ago. Makes me wish I was only 14 again.
