  • you can do it with a candle, duh :D

  • thank you! im so gonna get laid tonight

  • drink the water dont swallow spit :)

  • Cool! Hold on, just let me grab my COIN WITH A FUCKING HOLE IN IT...

  • @iHairybug hahahahaha i love hoe pple are getting excited about the coin with a hole lol to funny

  • DARN IT!!!! When I clicked on the video, I expected to see water turning into glass, not water traveling into a glass!!!

  • ... or use bubble gum to hold matches together.

  • Denmark doesn't use the euro?

  • @iAmirx Nope

  • FUCKING FASHION SHOW ADS

  • Comment removed

  • you can just use a candol

  • My cuz taught me tht exept with a little candle

  • i remember doing that during my 4th grade science, but we replace the match and coin with a crumpled paper

  • :o

  • so now stand the glass up without the water falling out! dickhead.

  • @DubstepWave you just have to reverse the plate while holding the glass tight to it... Dickhead

  • Danish?

  • When I do this trick I always say, "The challenge is to get the water inside the glass without touching the plate, and all you can use is a coin, TWO matches, the striker, and the glass + plate." Clarification is always nice.

  • Its not a coin that he's using, its a washer. Very easy and cheap to buy...

  • @Razorblade2511 Eh, that is a coin. Get glasses maybe?

  • @Razorblade2511 Danish coins have holes in them nationalbanken . dk/DNDK/money.nsf/side/5-krone_!OpenDocument

  • @bl00dwaste

    Obviously you were watching it?

  • what if your coin doesnt have a hole?

  • @dambo626 you can use a tea light aswell :)

  • @dambo626 I am guessing that a small birthday cake candle would work just as well.

  • @dambo626 use a ring

  • @dambo626 You can stick the matches into a cork. Then you put a coin under the water, outside the glass and challenge your friends to retrieve the coin without touching the water.

  • @dambo626 You could probobaly use a washer, or some kind've nut or something.

  • The best thing about this video is the soundtrack, supercar style!

  • pause the video now if you want to think... why are you watching this at all.

  • Isn't the water still in the plate?

  • the coins dont have holes in them in my country :(

  • @Chookenstein Use a washer.

  • took it from Scam School lol :P

  • I know this trick. When you light the match then it needs oxygen to burn. When all the oxygen inside the glass is used up, the match is trying to get the oxygen outside in. This is resulting in sucking the water in instead of the oxygen.

  • I thought that he will make water turn into glass... I am disapointed...

  • man kan godt høre du er dansker

  • is in the glass.. but it still in the bold

  • @0omatthewo0 no there is a thing in science that does this its because of the heat of the match

  • @mrmultiwhore isn't it because of the spending oxygen?

  • I didn't know Mr Bean could talk :D

  • You can use a small washer

  • my coins dont have holes in them :(

  • @TFfan7 Use some cork and stick the matches in them

  • @TFfan7 use a cork with holes in it

  • @TFfan7 stick matches into something else , something that is waterproof

  • @TFfan7 then get some from DENMARK :D

  • why didnt you just dip the glass into the water lol he never said anything about that

  • You dont really need a coin and matches you can just use a birthday candle and a flash surfaces that can hold it up straight

  • @cranksunlimited people who live in europe

  • @OKNoahA18 Most of the people who live in Europe tend to use Euros, so your comment wasn't actually accurate. If I'm not mistaken the coin used in this is Norwegian Kroni.

  • @shleazy well i have a bunch of coins with holes in them because i know someone who used to collect and i was told some were euros im not european so im not very used to what they are

  • wow

  • haha we did this is my science class XD

  • im guessing this dosnt work with a quarter unles you drill a hole through it

  • @ihavevideos45 use a candle

  • Boring

  • the water is still in the plate -_-

  • he is danish

  • he sounds like snape of harry potter!!!!!!

  • @wortho69lovesmen you mean off of puppet pals?

  • I got stuck at 0:22

  • in your.... defying laws of physics....

  • THANK YOU SCIENCE!

  • nothing new! but still working...

  • Thats simple. The glass gets suction cupped to the plate from the steam created inside of the cup. :)

  • its obvious: the fire burns the air inside, but nature doesnt like open space... so it fills it with the water. there is one thing about the water though... ;p

  • @mrBorkD Actually, fire only burns oxygen in air, not all of the air. And, I don't think you're explanation is correct. You say that "because air is burned, water replaces the burned air". Not true, I think, because all the oxygen that was burned is replaced by carbon dioxide. I actually thik it has to do with the air being hot because of the flame, then the flame dies because of lack of oxygen, and then the air that was very hot now cools and contracts sucking in the water.

  • @HosteDenis okay, another day, another lesson!

  • euros dont have a hole in them!!

  • I knew tht one i did it in a science lab

  • now THAT is just brilliant

    i applaud you good sir.

  • Tip guys: If you live in a civilised country where you don't have coins with holes you can always use a cork off a wine bottle and put the matches in that. you can get 3 or 4 in that way too

  • @Cheeseball1066 ur a douche bag lol

  • WTH no one has a coin with a hole in it

  • @3998woohoo japan does NOOB

  • @3998woohoo norway does!

  • @MrDomino321 yep

  • @3998woohoo smash the coin REALLY REALLY REALLY hard with a li'll circle and yo got one

  • What happens is the oxygen is being used to fuel the fire and sense the water below is blocking the air supply, the water is taking the space of the air and there is no air for the fire, causing it to go out.

  • Does it have to be water? Use food instead! That would be impressive.

  • use a birthday candle and u can use it over and over agen

  • 0:01

  • now drink it that would be awesome

  • not drink it that would be awesome

  • i've never seen a coin with a hole in the middle before.

  • @pojo205 you can either use a Japanese coin or use a building coin.

  • @pojo205 the norwegian "femkroning" for example

  • wow

  • use a sponge and squeeze the water in the glass? no?

  • @The8thGram Or perhaps a straw and then spit it in?

  • @sack064 xd yea rofl make it simple ;D

  • good now turn it upside down and drink it

  • 7th Grade Physics?

  • LOL AMAZING !!! :)

  • LOL at the "pause now to think"

  • ya his voice is weird

  • sadly i learned this is 7th grade

  • the reason this works is that as the candle burns, it depletes all the oxygen, and creates a vacuum, which sucks water in

  • if your coins dont have a hole use a damm candle xDDDD

  • Drink the water with a straw an spit it to the glass :D

  • @firando1 what if u cant do that?

  • or you could just use a damn washer..

  • If ur coins don't have holes use a lemon wedge to stand up the match

  • Sweet trick but american coins dont hav holes :(

  • Again with the matches! What's with this guy?

  • i love physics

  • i love how science can pwn so many drunks at a bar XD

  • i new it before pauseing it

  • in my country coins don't have holes

  • he sounds like bruno.

  • WIIIIITCH! BURN HIM!!!

  • @buddyboy122122 It's Science not magic.

  • @buddyboy122122 but how do you know he's a witch? ^.-

  • @PhyloGenesis He looks like one!

  • done it

  • The fuck is that coin? Looks like a button.

  • @Arenicolous made me LAWL

  • I HATE HIS VOICE

  • just take a spoon...

  • 6 stars

  • wao 100 points for you

  • Danish Krone! =P

  • voice over by ivan drago

  • we dont have those types of coins in america

  • just use a fkin candle..lolz i remember this trick..1 year ago my physics teacher showed me how to do it..i forgot what she said though..

  • why u all keep calling my name....

  • Cool

  • i dont get it. why didnt he just use levitating powers

  • Dude don't u know Americans don't use candles because there to unsafe. God forbid there be a open fire in your house!

  • noobs. its danish kroner! :P omg just use a candle

  • you dont need matches and a coin with hole in it, just use a candle

  • I live in the U.S. so I better bring my cordless drill along. Ill say Im going to the restroom slip out to the car. Grap the drill.....Anyone know what size bit I should use?...This'll be great.

  • cool trick but i dont have coins with holes

  • diehard814: a washer might work :)

  • you could also use a candle like some birthday candles stuck in something to hold them like clay or just a small tea candle (the little round short ones)

  • omg people use some gum to make the matches stand up.. or make some other very simple way to make this work... nice trick by the way

  • im sorry but not every one is carring chineese money around

  • @leonardogibran

    It's Danish money

  • you dont need a coin use a washer found at any hardware stores...

  • where the hell do you find a coin with a hole in the middle?

  • @theusedish get a coin and DRILL through it.

    Simple.

  • norwegian kroner\

  • It is a Danish Kroner

  • its a fender washer

  • Denmark

  • use a washer

  • And what if i live in a country who can afford to make their coins in one piece instead of cutting a hole in them?.

  • Then you can afford to go buy a washer from a hardware store....

  • i did this in school when i was a kid. Thanks though

  • I was thinking light a match under the upside down glass. I would have never thought of making a little coin stand.

  • r coins dont have holes in them

  • Thats pure genius

  • professor snape from harry potter LMAO

  • that is the cool est trick i have ever seen im subbing

  • in 5th grade my science teacher told me to do it with a lemon not a coin

  • Realy cool

  • i would have sworn to tell u hes mr bean lol!!!!

  • ITS AWESOME

  • do you come from DANMARK??

  • wow! it worked!!!!! its awesome

  • this guy's voice creeps me out.

  • @girlie2playsports i love his voice D:

  • nice

  • Another fun trick , take a bottle and hard boiled egg that doesn't quite fit into the bottle. Drop in lit match, put egg on bottle and the vacumme will pull the egg into bottle.

To get it back out turn bottle upside down, blow hard for a second or two and the egg will pop out.

Kindda fun if you have an egg and a milk bottle lying around. This was a Webelos 101 trick (Cub Scouts) back in the day, probably still is.

  • what frickin country u in the coins have flipping holes in !!!!!!!!!

  • lol its called a washer dumb fuck

  • You don't need to expose your ignorance on every topic. several countries have holes in coins. Why not? I find it weird that it is even comment worthy. (And no Australia doesn't have them, I have just payed some attention to foreign countries.)
